If you need a 1khz tone you can download phone apps that will produce a tone if you are testing tx on ssb on an open transmission that the counter can pickup. Just find an empty frequency.
Also check the ac/dx power supply voltageneed to read 14.0 float and mainatin 14 at load... Do not set the voltage over 14 at load ..... ..if u produce a 1 k at 50 mv u can get a stable freq lock... On ssb ..u need a 2 tone teat wich u have ...lol the bnk is a nice test piece ... Washington uses 20k potentiometers ... Zero beat the sab voice .. u van go back do a final am lock
Hi I was wondering where you live (just the state) and your prices, I do understand that what you have to do to a radio greatly affects the price I have a president dewite d that I havn't plugged in in at least 10 years and I'd hate to mess something up because of God knows what. I also have a matching speaker :) sadly it's not ssb but it's still mine :). any comments or suggestions will be greatly appreciated
Hello and thank you for your interests in my shop. I live in NJ. As far as prices and quotes for your situation, I would suggest a recap (replace all of the electrolytic capacitors) $35, and alignment $25 for AM CB radios. If you have anymore questions, please email me Bosdagnabcbradios@gmail.com or find my Facebook Page. Just search for the shop name.
hi bo.s im john im 68 yrs old.i wood like to get back in cbs jm looking for a base cb with side band. im handy cap, and I would like tock to my friends.didnt know if you sold any older cb for sale. thank you.
Hello John, Currently, I do not have any radios to sell. However, I will be ready to spin up some more by the end of the month (I hope). Are you looking for a mobile or base radio? What are you looking to spend? Have you looked on eBay? If you choose to look on eBay, pay attention to the seller's comments and their feedback history. If they have any red flags, I would choose a different seller. Once you buy the one you like, then send it no me for the alignment if needed.
