(Polk) Oversaw the Mexican-American War, leading to the US annexing modern-day Texas. 12. (Taylor) Twelfth President 13. (Fillmore) Last president to be a member of the Whig Party. 14. (Pierce) Nicknamed "Handsome Frank". 15. (Buchanan) Died as a lifelong bachelor. 16. (Lincoln) Well known for wearing a top hat in many instances. 17. (A. Johnson) Basically everyone in congress hated him. 18. (Grant) Civil war general turned President. 19. (Hayes) Had a mustache. 20. (Garfield) Assassinated 6 months into office. 21. (Arthur) Had a mustache. 22. (Cleveland) Only U.S. president to have two Nonconsecutive terms in office. 23. (B. Harrison) Changed the value of Gold and Silver in the US so that the country could have more money. 24. (Cleveland) See number 22. 25. (McKinley) Twenty-fifth president 26. (T. Roosevelt) Had a distinct mustache 27. (Taft) FAT! 28. (Wilson) Oversaw the US during the first world war. 29. (Harding) Had a lethal heart attack while in office. 30. (Coolidge) He REALLY didn't want to be president. Also known for being blunt. 31. (Hoover) Great Depression occurred during his presidency. 32. (F. Roosevelt) Had Polio, making him wheelchair bound. Often hid the fact with a series of elaborately hidden crutches. 33. (Truman) Authorized the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. 34. (Eisenhower) World War 2 general turned president. 35. (Kennedy) Assassinated while riding in a car. 36. (L. Johnson) He was a Texan. 37. (Nixon) Resigned after the Watergate scandal. 38. (Ford) Sit down for this because this one is a doozy. When Nixon was elected in 1968 he chose a man named Spiro Agnew as his vice president. However, in 1973, an investigation on Agnew revealed that he has guilty of conspiracy, bribery, extortion, and tax fraud. This lead to him resigning, making him only the second vice president in US history to resign, the previous being John. C Calhoun in 1832. This also put Nixon in suspicion since the Watergate investigation was ongoing at that time, but some people presumed he was innocent since he was also accused of corruption back in 1952 when he was the running mate to Eisenhower where he proved his innocents in the famous "Checkers Speech" in which Nixon stated that the only gift he had ever accepted was from a Texas millionaire which happened to be a cocker spaniel (Nixon's kids always wanted a dog) which was later named "Checkers", so this was enough to delay the inevitable. With Agnew gone, however, someone needed to fill in the spot of vice president. Since Nixon was a Republican, he wanted his VP to be a Republican too, but the Democrats felt that they would be underrepresented in the White House with another Republican VP. After a log back and forth, congress finally agreed on the only Republican moderate enough for the Democrats to accept: Gerald Ford. One year later, the Smoking Gun was found in which it was discovered that Nixon had secret recordings of himself regarding all his meetings, including the potential authorization a break-in into the Watergate hotel (where Democrats used to have their headquarters). After a warrant was issued to have the tapes sent to the FBI, it was discovered that one tape had 17 and a half minutes of audio cut out. After a shitty attempt by the Nixon Administration to brush it off as the secretary accidentally covering the microphone with her foot while making a phone call, the FBI charged Nixon for obstruction of justice. Fearing impeachment, Nixon resigned. Since the line of succession has the Vice-President assume the roll of president, Ford became president of the United States, making him the only person to become both President and vice president without being elected by the people. Truly, by sheer coincidence. 39. (Carter) Tried hard to be a normal "everyman" person. 40. (Reagan) Was a famous Hollywood actor during the 40s. 41. (Bush Sr.) He was a Texan. 42. (Clinton) He attended 3 major colleges (Georgetown, Oxford, and Yale). 43. (Bush Jr.) Often regarded as a dumbass. 44. (Obama) He's black. 45. (Trump) Billionaire. Good to see my APUSH education came to good use.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Spongebob Squarepants. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of marine biology most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Squidward’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from classic clarinet soli music, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about the DEEP BLUE SEA. As a consequence people who dislike Spongebob truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Eugene Krab’s existential catchphrase “Hello, I like money,” which itself is a cryptic reference to J.P. Morgan's thoughts on monopoly. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Stephen Hillenburg’s genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂 And yes, by the way, i DO have a BIG MEATY CLAWS tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of Plankton's (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel chum 😎
