The Whopper Plopper on rainy , cloudy or windy days or in muddy water is a go to comfort confidence bait for me oddly enough. I throw the 130 size because it catches 1lbers and 6lbers , i fished a secret pond i have for weeks with shaky heads and texas rigs only catching 1 fish max per visit around 1lb. I finally throw a plopper and i catch 3 fish over 3lbs in an hour an hour later i cast it off a mile and went through hell and two jig hooks into my hand trying to flip around bushes and a tree to hook the plopper and get it back lol
Yeah, the whopper popper was definitely enticing bites on this rainy day. Next day, no rain and a little more sunshine, same time of day... No hits. But I can relate to not wanting to lose these lures... They're expensive! I think I've lost about $39 worth of whopper poppers over the past year lol
I remember having a lure fly off on me mid cast one time. Led to the very paranoid habit of making sure that shit was on there for good every 10 minutes. lol
I think the line got frayed a bit while it was tangled up, which is why it flew off. I tied a helluva knot on there. I've lost 3 of those whopper ploppers in my lifetime, for a total of $39 down the drain lol

I honestly don't know. I don't play Fishing Planet anymore, and I reached level 22 a few years ago. Can't remember which spots are the best to earn money at that level.
