My First Time Fishing Presque Isle Bay of Lake Erie. It took us awhile to get them figured out, but we caught some really nice Lake Erie Smallmouth Bass.

I may be biased since I’ve lived in Fairview Pa since 1987, but I strongly believe that Erie Pa is the greatest freshwater fishing on planet earth. It’s a world class smallmouth, walleye and perch fishery. We have excellent lake trout fishing in the spring. Great steelhead fishing from fall to spring. It’s truly a fishermen’s paradise 12 months out of the year. Even the ice fishing is pretty good. But what you guys are doing on the bay is my favorite season of all. I’m on the bay 4 or 5 days a week for the smallmouth spawn. Nothing beats landing 50+ fat bronze backs before lunch time.
