With respect to fame, Neil Peart once said something like: “I did not set out to be famous, I set out to be good.” I think that also sums up you ladies.😊👍

Thanks for the video with translations, I think they handled themselves so well and I particularly loved Pau's answer to the question about fame and that they play because they love it and not to achieve fame. That's why they'll be so huge because you can see it in their performance that they love what they're doing. They are simply the best band in the world ❤️

7:30 Paulina hit it right on the head!!😁 The older generations (myself included) really miss the concept of progressive rock/metal/whatever-you-want-to-call-it. This is reminiscent of music from the 70's and 80's when artists were experimenting with new instruments and techniques that hadn't been tried before, and generating the sounds that *NOBODY* expected. The Warning is re-creating the music that made rock & roll history, and doing it in a whole new way. I love that Dany is now playing through a Helix LT Line 6. That is one of the *best* programmable pedals I've seen yet, for a pretty reasonable price!! I don't even think she's used some of the cool acoustic effects (for her 6 string acoustic), at least not on stage yet, but I could definitely imagine it with some nice chorus and flang FX added for 'Crimson Queen'!! Pau's drumming techniques have changed a lot also, and she's throwing in licks that fit sooo well for a particular piece. I hardly even need to mention how far Ale has come on the bass, just in the last year or so.😍 Her runs have moved into the realm of players twice or 3 times her age, and if she ever misses a note, I haven't caught it yet? All in all, they have advanced so much since the inception of this album, it's incredible! As word gets around on RU-vid and other platforms, more people are reacting to their songs, and in essence doing free advertising for The Warning, as even more people become aware of their existence!! All the reactors I have seen so far have urged people to go and buy their music and help them on their journey. This is a big plus for The Warning, and good incentive to create more music that we can rock out to!!😁 🤘😍🤘 Once again, big shout-out to TW-GV for capturing this, and the English subs, for those of us that aren't really proficient in Spanish!😁💖👍👍

Thank you for translation. I think it's kind of funny how interesting Mexican media is about them singin in english. I understand the market value of South American etc but I think that universal language of rock'n' roll is english. Not in a bad way :) For example, every major bands here in Finland are singin English, not Finnish as they wanna go outside of Finland looking for success. Like Nightwish,Amorphis, Sunrise Avenue, Rasmus, Children of Bodom etc.. Anyways. Glad to see that girls are so humble and excited about what they are doing. Long live Rock'n Roll.
@LicSergioJCastro
@LicSergioJCastro 3 года назад

They are so kind hearted, and so well spoken. And just like every normal, teenager, out there. But, when it comes down to their talent, in playing instruments, writing incredible songs, that old school people, and adults can relate to, with their explosive energy, and powerful stage presence...it completely blows your mind when they go on stage.They are just completely different people, up there, giving it their all, and giving their fans, what they ask for, and something more.These girls are truly special, and deserve more recognition. The "new birth" of Rock and Roll, is right here, and right before your eyes.

I am very grateful for the subtitles. I want to add that rock is a very "English" thing, from the Beatles to Zepplin and beyond. Whatever rock's origin the English are the best at it by far. Doing rock in English then is very natural. Babymetal is a good example of a non-english band appealing to the world through (some) use of the English language.
@westmus
@westmus 5 лет назад
English is the universal language in this modern globalized world. While there may be some cons with this, its also fantastic how the world become smaller when people all over the globe can communicate much easier. The Warning have fans world wide, they wouldn't if their lyric was in spanish. Rock is pretty much an evolution from american blues, which are based on african music traditions. So rock started in US and then spread to Uk. Bands like Fleetwood Mac, Rolling Stone and Led Zeppelin came from Uk and they all had a strong basement in the blues. John lennon had a skiffle band before Beatles. Skiffle is also an american music style related to blues. 👍

16:50 Yeah, singing in English (one of the most important, and most widely spoken languages) has DELAYED their success... Haha. I totally support them singing and speaking in Spanish, though, whenever they wish. As long as the music they make is great, which I'm sure it will be, I will always continue following and supporting them!
@Southwest737
@Southwest737 5 лет назад
I also thought that was a strange comment. English "holding them back"? I probably wouldn't have discovered them if all their songs were in Spanish. In fact, I would say that speaking English CAUSED their success in the USA as well as some European countries. Speaking English, if anything, only held back their fame in Mexico. Speaking English is one of the most widespread languages of the world (All pilots and air traffic controllers are required to read, write, and understand English), so I believe this is the best way to eventually achieve worldwide fame.

16:50 If I'm being honest, if I heard the same amazing songs in Spanish (a language I know very little in), chances are I'd still think they're extremely talented musically, but I probably wouldn't be irrational fan-boy-ey over them... lmao. I'd probably have just brushed them off as "yeah, that was really good, but I have no freaking idea of anything they just said...". So, I think it's obviously good for them since English is a very widespread language, because it has to be. It's very powerful; literally and figuratively. So, yeah.
@Atari-Dude
@Atari-Dude 5 лет назад
But chances are, I wouldn't have even found them... The Facebook group that the person who recommended me to The Warning is primarily an English-speaking group (other languages aren't not allowed, but English is just like the only one used there I think)... And my post that he commented on was in English. So, this band overall is pretty niche in the fact that they're young girls from Mexico making great rock music in 2019... So, if they didn't sing in English, I'm not sure how many people in non-Spanish speaking countries would have actually discovered them, and continued being fans of them. I don't know, that's just my opinion though :P

I agree, pop music is trash. It’s all about money and branding. Like Britney Spears doesn’t even have a baby voice, her actual voice is deep. It messed up her voice that she couldn’t even do it anymore. But the record label want to keep her on brand with that baby voice. That’s why she lip syncs all the time. I’m glad the girls of the warning choose to play rock music and hopefully they keep making amazing rock music. But I will hold my heart, because they are now signed with a major label which they totally deserve. But I just hope they wouldn’t fall into the wrong hands.. music industry is super fcked up and can be really dark. I hope they stay true to themselves and never change.

Also, it is a very common phrase among Latin Americans, "si Dios quiere" which translated idiomatically means "God willing." So while they are probably Catholic or Christian as J.R. said I think it's more a figure of speech used in conversation.
