Something like this happened to me at the hairdressers, i was told £90 for the standard colour when i got the final bill it was £150 all because i too spoke when spoken to. 🤔😒

I’m korean so after moving here I realized everything is just way way way too much and every little thing cost an extra few dollars (if that is the case, then so many extra things is “on the house” in korea but it is just considered a service there free service) because in New York one time when ask if I want some hair oil after finishing my hair to make my hair more glossy, I said sure why not and it is not even a treatment! but for some oil I have to pay an extra 8 dollars?? (I know you might not think a lot but why couldn’t the salon say it cost money to begin with? They make it seem like something casual/free I don’t know how to explain I’m more mad they didn’t say anything than the actual price and some shops at a smoothie store even ask for tips that start at the 18-20 % percent like that’s crazy! (I hear in LA some store begin at 20 percent????) And people make excuses that if no tipping culture exists, everyone will be rude. No! You should be nice to begin with that’s part of the job isn’t it ??? Isn’t it the least you can do like the standard? Just pay them the amount they deserve but I get it stores owners don’t want to pay more but this is awful. And sorry if it seems like ugh I hate it here don’t get me wrong it is a beautiful country but I see this a big problem and might get bigger in the future…..
I can buy like 5 packs of reslly cute Kiss nails and they last me for a couple months and look just as good and if they nreak just opem a new pack. And babygirl i wouldnt tell nobody i paid anything for the way your nails look ijs
I would have said she should have told me that at the time before i took the offer not knowing im agreeing to may extra, they cannot make you pay forsomething they didnt tell you was an additional service.
Bro you can get a color change which includes a cut and clean and polish for 10 bucks where I live, in a hoity toity resort town. Asian owned. Idk if that matters.
nail salon owners take half of what nail techs make that day, which means they take half of the nail techs earnings throughout their whole paycheck no matter what day or week it is. yes it can be frustrating to be paying more, but think about sitting on your ass all day, your posture hurting asf throughout long ass shifts and youre getting all ur earnings basically removed. they work hard, and all nail salons do this to all of their employees. hopefully this clears shit up a bit and learn something new.
Just because an employer doesn't pay it's employee enough doesn't mean we have to compensate them by our hard earn money And this goes for waiters also Instead of complaining to the bigger the richer the owner Why does the employee loot the customer The more they do it the more the employer will pay less
