I'm wondering the same thing. WTF? Where are our fire chiefs? I'm seeing an awful lot of foreigners doing the jobs that used to be done by local Americans. Just curious 🤔.
Chief Ball is British, he has served the city and its citizens and visitors for over 25 years and has rose through the ranks. I had the privilege of working with him for many years.
That’s because no one‘s from here generationally anymore and we’re being displaced. We still exist though! The north Texas southern accent really died off in the early to mid 2000s
What has America come to? I'm so sad but relying on the fact that God is in control ... His plan is perfect bc He is perfect. Prayers for the firemen, Pastor and his congregation in Jesus' name Amen.
You have the truth Linda. My prayers join yours in lifting to Jesus the safety and provision for all of us, the days are short and it’s becoming time to stand up for the Truth of Jesus Christ and His guarantee and gift of eternal salvation. It’s going to start costing more than just a pittance on Sunday. Put on the full armor of God. We are going to need it.❤
Everything inside the old building is mostly wood if I remember rightly as the seats down to the upper level is etc... I am sad today for the church but the pastor is right too... I was baptized in the old building by the late Dr Criswell and by parents were married by him but in another building... 🙏🌹💝🕯💮
Solomon's Odes ODE 4. This Ode is important because of the historical allusion with which it commences. This may refer to the closing of the temple at Leontopolis in Egypt which would date this writing about 73 A. D 1 No man, O my God, changeth thy holy place; 2 And it is not (possible) that he should change it and put it in another place: because he hath no power over it: 3 For thy sanctuary thou hast designed before thou didst make (other) places: 4 That which is the older shall not be altered by those that are younger than itself 5 Thou has given thy heart, O Lord, to thy believers: never wilt thou fail, nor be without fruits: 6 For one hour of thy Faith is more precious than all days and years 7 For who is there that shall put on thy grace, and be hurt? 8 For thy seal is known: and thy creatures know it: and thy (heavenly) hosts possess it: and the elect archangels are clad with it 9 Thou hast given us thy fellowship: it was not that thou wast in need of us: but that we are in need of thee: 10 Distill thy dews upon us and open thy rich fountains that pour forth to us milk and honey: 11 For there is no repentance with thee that thou shouldest repent of anything that thou hast promised: 12 And the end was revealed before thee: for what thou gavest, thou gavest freely: 13 So that thou mayest, not draw them back and take them again: 14 For all was revealed before thee as God, and ordered from the beginning before thee: and thou, O God, hast made all things. Hallelujah.
21:5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,21:6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. Luke
lol i saw a clip of him on another vid and thought? hang on thats a british accent( not aussie i can tell a british accent a mile off no matter what part of the uk they come (asked my partner and as he lived in London for quite some years and he said its defo a london accnent!) for sure from they all have certain twangs as we say as im from the uk) BUT apperently hes been in the fire service there for 26 yrs! They do say you can pick up a local dielect if you live somewhere long enough BUT he hasnt by the sounds of it! Taken from a pres releas for the city of dallas published 4th june 2024 Chief Justin Ball began his career in 1997, the same year he joined Dallas-Fire Rescue. Over the more than twenty-six years he has been with the department, he has served with increasing responsibility. First serving as a fire fighter paramedic, Chief Ball has since achieved every possible rank. As the Executive Assistant Chief of Operations, he leads the Department’s most challenging divisions, including Fire response, EMS, Special Operations, Communications and Safety. Chief Ball implemented the City’s Stop the Bleed Program, the Single Function Paramedic Program, and the Squad Relief Program. He has held the positions of Chief of Staff, Operations Assistant Chief, Executive Deputy Chief, Field Deputy Chief and Battalion Chief. Chief Ball has a Bachelor's in Fire Administration from Texas A&M and is a certified Master Firefighter, ARFF, Fire Officer II, Fire Instructor II, Incident Commander, and Incident Safety Officer. A native of England, he has made Dallas his home for more than thirty years and considers DFR to be a part of his family.
@eltomas3634 😅 heck we have an Athens, a Paris, even a Palestine! We pronounce it differently, but we got one. We also have a Gun Barrel, Cut and Shoot, Buffalo, 😅.
???? So Dallas F.D. hired a British guy? He probably fled to Texas to avoid the too high U.K. tax rates. As to the fire,,,,, I'm thinking there must have been lots of chemicals in the paint, varnish, furniture for that length of time and firemen needed. Hope the Fire Inspector(s) figure it out on the morrow.
🏆 here is your award for the dumbest comment ever. I come from France and have been in the US fire service since 2008 in the Houston area.... did not flee anything or escape my country, I just love my job and helping my fellow citizens, even the ones who leave dumb and ignorant comments on RU-vid 😅
@adams8132. Perhaps Chief Ball is a Dallas resident! As prejudiced as Texas appears to be and considering the US is a multicultural country, I can understand you asking this question even tho I just need to add 'Your poops and biases are showing!' It's a pretty poor look throughout the replies considering he and probably several other nationalities are working to save what they can. smh
I think he is an Aussie (not that it really matters). I have watched many British programs and recently have been watching the Aussie programs, Bondi Beach and Bondi Vets.
