I’ve been canning for about 20 years, but last year due to illness I didn’t get to can at all. You’d be surprised what happens to not only your stock but also your memory! LOL I found you (and liked and subscribed!!), and absolutely love how you go describe what you’re doing but, not into unnecessary details. I never thought about cooking 2 kinds of beans together like that! Thanks for that tip! And thank you for sharing with us! ❤️

I canned chili beans a few months ago. After seeing the way you do yours, I wish I would have done it this way. The recipe I followed had adding spices to the jar before adding beans. I hope they turned out. Haven't had the chance to use them yet. I wanted them to turn out like store bought chili ready beans. I will follow your recipe from here on out.
