How loud is your machine on steam bake? My brand new unit's fan is quite loud when steam cycle is finished as it's blown out of the machine... Are these cookers that loud?
All my counters have a cabinet above them on the wall so I have to pull it forward to open it. Make sure you have enough room for the air fryer to open, when open it stands at 22.5 inches
How is the pressure cooker function? Does it take forever to pressurize? I'm just going through the comments on amazom it's mainly pressure cooker issues
Just bought mine and excited to use it. my mother who lives with me was very hesitant to have be around a pressure cooker because she got severe burns from one a few years ago but i did research and the ninja one seems way safer.

I got this a while ago and I’ve realised I’ve been completely lazy with it by just using the air fryer only option. I only recently started to try and find new recipes I can make with it.
I love this product but at 8months of using it, I had problem with shut the lid (even though its shut) could’t find any solution. I cleaned it and every thing even called customer service for a fix but no success. 😢 good thing I have warranty! They replaced it, and currently waiting for it to be delivered. I hope I wont have the same trouble! I really love this product 😢

I had mine for a week and I don't recommend this but instead my old foodi op350 is better bc of the lid, i didn't think having two lids is better than having 1 lid. Why? When you air fry, the oil get stuck on the heating object no matter how i clean it so when i pressure cook they melt and drops on the food i cook - just my experience
Charlie, Using a damp cloth, carefully clean all reachable areas. You may also run a Steam cycle to help loosen stuck-on food. Allow the unit to cool down before attempting to clean after running a Steam cycle.
This unit is so noisy. It's like a high pitched hairdryer. You could've spent a small amount of time acoustically tuning it so it wasn't annoying to be in the same room as. The duo crisp is quiet and deep toned, easy to be in the same room as. Having to wait for the lid to cool before being able to swap seals (separate lid can cool rapidly by filling inside with water in the sink), no spare seals in the UK website or spare pot, the lid is a nightmare to clean.
Hopefully this model sorted the issue with the Error Codes on your older models? I have the first version, and it keeps giving me an ERR2 Code. My in laws grill coincidentally is giving an error code as well. It keeps saying Add Food. I've used Shark products in the past and really never had any issues, but I'm a bit skeptical now.
Mine does not have a float valve. Customer service can't tell me why, except they assume it is an upgraded model that doesn't require a float valve. I thought all pressure cooker needed a float valve for safety reasons.
@@NinjaKitchenUS The model was OL701. It completely failed shortly after I posted my comment. I assume it was because there was no float valve to help regulate the pressure. Since it was under warranty, I got a new one, which took almost 2 months and several phone calls to customer service and supervisors to finally receive. The new one has a float valve. Needless to say, I am not happy with Ninja right now.
Thanks getting back to me I actually did a roast beef dinner initially I was going to pressure cook it but changed my mind at the last moment and went steam fry if I’m honest it wasn’t a total disaster I had broccoli and carrots in the gravy at the base and the beef and potatoes on the low rack I had to keep checking the temp of the beef as I like it medium rare I guessed the time because I used the pork recipe in the book and as I’m cooking for one my beef was quiet small and would have been well over cooked at 45 mins so I took it out at 30 mins and it wasn’t bad the roast potatoes could have needed longer the broccoli was slightly singed but I liked it like that the carrots were pretty good the gravy to die for well it did have a splash of red wine in hehe I guess it needs a fair amount of experimentation just a quickie if I pressure cooked everything would I get my beef how I like it ?

Just purchased mine in a 6.5 qt. I also have an instant pot, let's see which one will be my favorite (Lol). I do have an older Ninja cooking system, that works GREAT!!! I do luv all things Ninja. Question: can I use my instant pot accessories, in this unit?

Thanks for the review. On my old ninja the heating element and fan get dirty after air frying a lot. I wonder if on the new one the same happens, and if that dirt mixes up with food being cooked with pressure since the lid is the same. Can you share your thoughts on that? Thank you

what about cleaning this thing? If i cook some salmon in the air fry mode and then want to make some rice pudding, the pudding ends up smelling like salmon... I can't seem to get rid of the smells. Any splashes of fat that end up going behind the fan etc will eventually run down into another meal. I genuinely think having one lid is a lot of trouble and i don't see why people aren't mentioning it. Unless i'm missing something?

First time user, remove all stickers, I turned on the cooker and closed the lid however, the temperature or option for the timer option isn't available. So I can't cook anything. So frustrated

Bought mine a month ago but the seems to have a problem closing. It keeps getting stuck before it closes fully, but sometimes when it’s hot it doesn’t close fully. Despair

Too digital for me, still prefer preset buttons, this OL series are more like Airbus, I'm a Boeing guy, give me my buttons and toggles any day....and cast iron skillet. Good demo though,Happy Ninja!

If I use that rack in the upper position (steak) won't the heating element be too close?? All I can see is a greasy splatter mess on the roof on the ninja.
Thank you for your question, Galimir! We recommend using the Reversible Rack in the lower position when using the Bake/Roast and Steam functions. The Reversible Rack is used in the higher position when using the Broil function.
Hi, how do you clean/wash the lid? With the old version, I could at least wash the pressure cooker lid in the sink with soap, which is really needed to remove food smells. It seems like we can't do it with this lid?
Hello Marilin. We recommend doing a steam cleaning to wash the lid. To do that fill the pot with 3 cups of water. Move the slider to Air Fryer/Stove top. Select steam for 30 min and start it. When it is done use a wet cloth or a sponge to wipe down the interior of the lid.
Hello Sherelle! If you want to air fry your fries and nuggets it has to go into the air fry rack. If you want to bake them then you do not need the rack.

The default temperature setting will display. Use the up and down arrows to the left of the display to select "FER". Use the up and down arrows to the right of the display to adjust the incubation time in 30-minute increments between 6 and 12 hours.

We'd like to let you know that you can either move the valve to the Vent position for a quicker process or leave it sealed so it depressurizes naturally as it cools down. We recommend checking the recipe, as bigger meals tend to require a natural pressure release to finish the cooking process.

It's not as easy as having a fancy Japanese or S Korean rice cooker. But it's fairly simple to use once you get the water ratio right for the specific rice type.
Wish you had a 6QT version with thermometer as not all of us have big families to feed! Many of us are single and possibly at most, couple people to feed! What's keeping me from buying this is the huge bucket! It's too big!

@@shakerson quickest way is to pressure cook the rice. It's about 15 minutes to cook rice to perfection. Sometimes quicker depending on the type of rice.

You pour 3 cups of water into the pot and move the slider to Air Fry/Stove Top. You then select Steam and set the time to 30 minutes. Press Start/Stop button to begin. When it is finished and the unit is cooled, use a wet cloth ore sponge to wipe down the interior of the lid. Avoid touching the fan when cleaning.

I've just bought the 650 pressure cooker. I've got a pork shoulder joint, it's 1.3kg. How do I work out the cooking time? The TenderCrisp chart in the recipe book gives times for a 2g shoulder but I can't find out anywhere how to work out the timings. Ta.

Hi Teh! You'd use Steam & Bake when making things like cakes, quick breads, etc. For regular oven baking or roasts, you can use the Bake/Roast setting.

I hope this product doesn’t have the VENT ERROR. The last ninja foodi would give me that issue constantly. It’s so frustrating and the troubleshooting tips don’t resolve the issue quickly. Such a disappointment for such and expensive pot.

I'm frustrated. I bought one after watching all these videos and am angry the 6.5 qt doesn't have the same features the 8 qt does. You can't select the pressure releases. It doesn't come w the same pans. Just everything.. first product 8ve purchased from Ninja that's disappointing
