@@brailleskateboarding oh and have the crew check the videos for clarity and ommisions. I accently learned varial flip from kickflip boot camp because in the pop shuv video because i didn't know to get my foot out of the way so the rotation would catch my foot and make it flip.

You don’t. I always preferred them but I had friends that had loose trucks that didn’t. Ride the board and put your back foot on the front of the tail (so if you’re goofy and looking at the nose of your board with your shoulders squared, then it’s the left side of the tail. If you’re regular and facing the nose it’s the right side of the tail.) have your foot sideways so that the side of your shoe is hanging off the edge of the board and the ball of your feet is juuuust before the wheel.) then you push down with the ball of your feet so it pushes on the board and flips around the wheel. Wait a second before you lift your front foot and then wait a second before you jump. You’ll figure out the timing of those three things with practice. But eventually you’ll get it so your board does an inward heel. Sorry if there’s a lot of confusing details but I didn’t want to leave anything out. And like I said I prefer to be facing the nose of the board, (so my shoulders aren’t in line with the board) the hardflip is just the reverse of all that. And you can get a feel for those tricks while standing behind your board and just doing the pressure with your back foot, just to get a feel for it. Btw if you do these and get the hang of it, learning how to impossible becomes much easier because the pressure flip sets up the impossible to wrap around your feet

Cuz i work a lot, and i always wondered which slip resistant shoes worked best to get off and skate in, or skate on my lunch but i don't wanna swap shoes all the time, maybe some filas slip resistant or the OG sketchers?
