Hi. this is John with Consolidated Rigging and Lifting. As you can see, this is the lubing process. The wire rope goes into the lubing device with a sea lube that has really good lubing characteristics already, and it comes out the device at the other end impregnated with WRO lube.
We've opened the pressure luber up where it goes into the machine. As you can see, this is the process that's going on in between and it scrapes out a smooth, valley-filled lube at the other end.
We're demonstrating how we're pressure lubing wire rope. This shows the wire rope as it reels up, and you can see the finished product here.
