The not so glamorous part of pressure
I was just minding my business, when the thought came to my mind of a red vase sitting on a table with a monochrome or grayscale backdrop. Immediately, I knew what this was about.
The beauty of individuality was the core of this video. The vase represented the shell of us, the shell of me. The material that was being poured into the vase; you know, that material that wanted to expand? This material is the parts of us, the parts of me that wants to just be ME.
So what happens when being me is too much for you... When being me is too much for my family... When being me is too much for my environment??? I start feeling outside pressures that lead me to think that I have to be in this box, that there is no other way, and there's surely no in between option between black or white. I'm like where's the gray!
Sometimes it just be feeling very limiting and then... I start to believe it.
