Not Alvin and Claudio's fault..crowding around would just do more harm and the space was narrow. Even the rest of the red team were staying back because crowding around her might cause breathing difficulties. It was really nice of Chef Michael to check up on her though without crowding.

To be fair, everyone is saying she should've saved someone else because she's in the military, but this is different. This isn't a battlefield, there's no death or injury involved, or at least supposed to be involved. This is a cooking competition to become the new best home cook in the entirety of Canada. It'd be very foolish to not save yourself no matter what occupation you do because there's no reason not to. Unlike in the military, this is, at the end of the day, an individual competition after all.

It is idiotic to say that sergeants/officer will let their team die in battle! Any good officer would graciously go down with their troops including captains eg: Titanic's captain. She clearly was feeling the effects of dehydration well before she collapsed and didn't recognize it for what it was. She probably had a massive headache, head fog, muscle fatigue, and other symptoms. AKA she probably knew she couldn't go through a round at that moment. And honestly, there should have been a break between the team event and the losers elimination round.

Most wont win anyway, so its better to act honorably and with dignity the entier show rather than show yourself to be vindictive or loud or angry ect. Never show your negative qualities where milions of people can see. Also because the show runners will seldom allow the worst most hated person to win. These shows are about ratings first and foremost so if the audience hates someone, even if they cook well they could still be eliminated with some bs excuse of their food tasting bad.

Keep in mind for all the hate everybody has for Line: She was in the finals and came second place in the whole competition. She then went on other shows in Canada as a guest chef showing people how to cook dishes that she became known for. In April this year, she was diagnosed with cancer and donated her hair to a children's charity, and is now trying to champion good causes to help others who's lives have been ruined by the disease. This episode doesn't show her in a good light, but she's a hell of a leader and absolutely smashes out a different team challenge when she is captain once a lot of the weaker chefs go home.

Kaila and Dale in a team challenge didn't get along but later they act like besties and when Dale was eliminated he said he believed Kaila to be the winner. Line has a strong personality and maybe people aren't used to it especially when some of the other contestants are David, Jon, and Chritopher, who radiate a sort of wholesome and kind vibe.
