As a fence contractor, our suppliers recommend our clients NOT pressure wash their fence because they claim it destroys the UV coating on the fence which will destroy the color over time making the fence yellowish. They recommend using mild soap (or just water), a microfiber sponge, and a regular garden hose for this. Just putting it out there lol
@@mertz313 A vinyl fence expected durability in the sun is 0 to 10 years. Assuming this fence is older than 10 years I don't think damaging the UV protection would mean much. I would be more worried about using high pressure on anything plastic or vinyl for physical damage. Soft wash would be the proper way to do is. Most customers can't tell the difference between a fence thats been baking in the sun passed its 10 year uv protection life time and a new fence. Regardless, the washer here to great care in not damaging the fence with high pressure. Still that is something I wouldnt use high pressure on.
