Create an mechanical hose feeder/retractor that connects to an app that allows you to control the slack on your hose with a touch of a button. I want 1% royalties
Justin are the "How To Wash: Complete Guide" & "Pressure Washing Blueprint" the same course? And do you give discounts to disabled veterans? 😊 I want to buy now... but I'm unsure which course to go with Sir.
Your degree represents a baseline of knowledge. This is the kind of knowledge you learn from working in your professional field. That is how you become a subject matter expert. You need to apply what you learned in college to the work you do or you’re in the wrong field. This guy has 40 years in the industry you can’t compare that to a college education. You’re gonna spend a couple decades at least getting to where he is
Not even trying to take away from this video or their creators, but that’s really just a general college issue 😂 most courses teach shit that’s useless in regards to the job
Dang man its crazy how I was just on RU-vid and on your channel looking for a video on chemicals and here it is ... my prayers have been answered. Just went and picked up my business cards today, cant wait to start getting after it
Good luck!!!!! 👌 I’ve been thinking on getting into it. I retired in 2017 (army) and been seriously thinking about it. JUST do not know what chemicals goes with what job. I’d say I’d stick with driveways, parking lots to get my feet wet and know the product.
Reassurance with the customer is key. They gotta trust that you know how to handle the chemicals and let them know you can properly dispose of whatever is left over. That means a lot to a lot of home owners that are picky about organics
This guy is great, part salesman, part trainer. He sells product, knows what sells a customer on a pressure washing job, and knows how to do the job. I’m here just learning about types of product. I could read sell sheets but I’d rather hear it from a usage standpoint rather than a sales one. If you need to learn how to price and upsell you kinda in the wrong business. Lots of natural salesmen out there, country boys never disappoint And like lobster Mac ain’t bougie Mud mayday would sell big in Hawaii lol nothing but red dirt, red clay/gray clay all over each island. I use swimming goggles for eye protection, makes everything look blue like a pool
Thanks for the information on cleaning chemicals. I used these chemicals to clean my neighbors really well. Before they started off full of rust stains and honestly just really greasy and dirty. All of them smelled, and the inside of their house smelled too but that was too big of a job. I just got them all out in the driveway and went to work. Your tips about surfactant were spot-on. It left them all with a great cherry smell, yum yum.
Man I was actually going to request this video in one of your comment sections today and bam here’s almost an hour long video on the subject, much appreciated!
you are beyond amazing with your videos Justin and I can’t say enough how much they have helped to teach me the process of these things but also they are just so in formative on the reasoning, effects, scientific, etc. kind of thing with what your doing out there. Personally i found your channel about 6-8mouths ago and watched a handful of videos with little more than the idea that this could be something good to start and that was in. Fast forward to now I knew immediately when I went to RU-vid that your channel was what I wanted to watch to learn and in just 3-4 days of and I’ve been watching every video that I can. Let me tell you Justin, I’m impressed with myself and how I am able to speak with my buddy that I’m doing my first job for told me he was impressed with my ability to make him more inclined to want my service just by talking over the phone as if he was a customer I didn’t know that I was trying to land. On top of all that, I was just “selling him” a quote for trash bin cleanings so for anyone who can tolerate a book of text and read this far just know this is a beautifully put together channel that is phenomenal in educating others be it from home owners saving a buck to the guys like me who want to start a name for themselves so from all the people out there that feel the same way I do thank you Justin and I hope this helped you to see just how impactful you are from the videos you put out now to even the videos a year or two old!
Thanks for the great video guys! As a water treatment plant operator, I must say there IS a such thing as liquid chlorine; it's in the lower half of the ton cylinders for injection into certain water treatment setups. But, what I think Coty is saying is that, for our purposes of washing exterior surfaces, there is no pure form of liquid chlorine that we're gonna have access to and the ability to use. Justin and Coty know their business very well! Great work y'all!
@@GB-hj3xpThat's right. At standard temperature and pressure, chlorine is a yellow-green gas. It is also denser than air, so it tends toward lower areas, killing most anything in its path. It can cause instant pneumonia due to its properties as a powerful oxidizer. Wear a properly-fitting respirator while spraying chemicals.
So true when I got into this business I would stay up late nights watching videos and reading and research in different chemicals . I don't know it all because it's always changing and progressing . But I do my best to stay on top of it . So Karen eating her chicken salad haha can't sit there and tell me I'm doing it wrong . I came from auto detailing business so taking the sales and up selling skills I got from there to now . Knowing how to speak to the client sound professional with out over doing it and losing them with to much jargon . Keeping it simple for them but showing them you know what your doing and talking about .
This is beautiful. I've been afraid to start broadening my chemical palette but this video definitely makes me more comfortable. I think I'm going to start "experimenting" with these different products. They definitely seem cost effective
The problem with this company is the shipping. They wanted over 100$ to ship me a bucket of surfactant. The bucket of soap was less than half of the shipping price. So I go elsewhere for that very reason.
For surfactants it is recommended to use a cleaner with Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) surfactants ex "some" laundry detergents such as Tide, Gain, Arm and Hammer {No Oxiclean}. Check labels for SLS. **Only laundry detergent no hair shampoos, body-wash, dish detergents or carwash etc...
Danny and Justin are modern Knights. I lift my visor for the both of you men. I'm going in and I appreciate your wisdom. I will never disrespect or step on competitors toes.💪🏾
I was going to start a pressure washing co but I'd have to wear full ppe suits and respirators. The thing is, we don't see you guys using it.! crazy. these chemicals are wayy too toxic on the body over time, so I chose to go the auto detailing route just using gloves and mask and glasses. I offer pressure cleaning if the driveway or front of home is relatively clean already and pressure washing every few weeks with 1500 psi at 2 gpm can keep concrete and pavers looking good with just diluted apc degreaser. much less dangerous. I charge to keep the surfaces new... not to restore it to new from a disastrous consulting . it's very safe fast and lucrative. offer monthly service charge and keep the cost low while collecting every month guaranteed work. great videos content and business just be safe and and focused and you'll be successful.
I love that he says selling single jugs would never make sence but 6 months later there are singles for some of the ones on his site xD quick improvements with this guy, love it
Thanks for creating this video and uploading it. Your utube shorts are great. New to the game and wanted to share. Arrived today: Simpson 4200psi 4gpm. 20in surface washer. 100ft monster hose(slightly regretting it now) XjetM5/5g pail system. Planning on using 3/8 x100ft flexzilla airhose with xjet. Used Home Depot Pro/Military veteran account for discounts and Xjet from Kleen Rite. I needed a good chemical setup video. Thanks again! -Justin
So I am a mobile detailer and am thinking about adding this as a revenue stream. I just went through a huge upgrade on equipment but unsure whether or not my pressure washer is enough to at least get started. I can run 1850psi continuously at around 1.3-1.55 gpm. It is electric and ran off of a generator if needed.
Terrific video. Please help. In reference to the 38 minute mark, can professionals, actually remove oil stains/hydraulic fluid, stains, from a concrete driveway? And without damaging the driveway?
Anyone know of any good videos that showcase the prepping that needs to be done before cleaning a driveway/sidewalk/patio before using SH? I'd like to see how someone goes around the house and protects the yard and plants
Chemical run off when doing driveways shouldn’t hit storm drains. Using a sump pump usually does the trick. You have to use some “wall” to pool the waste water for the pump to reclaim the water
Both of your videos have been very helpful while I’ve been working on my business plan. This combo chem video has been the most informative yet to me. Thanks! May we go back to the labeled dedicated pump sprayers for specialty add ons for a second. Coty had mentioned how some react to bleach and it made me wonder if some of those chemicals would rinse away faster or slower than SH? For example a rust stain. Do you treat the rust stain first or post-rinse SH? Is there an instance with the other chems where the application order would be opposite?
Really considering starting a pressure washing/soft wash business I live in the PNW and I think it’ll be a high profit margin on the side while I work full time

Hi! Is there like an online class ( besides RU-vid ) which I know is a great teacher but just a quick course on chemicals? And how to use them properly? For training
I don’t see any reviews on the how to wash class and I’d like to see some because I’m really thinking of starting a pressure washing business and feel the class would be helpful but scared to risk the money with all the fake stuff out here! Not saying this guys fake cuz I watch this channel faithfully just would like some reviews. Hoping to be your competition one day being I’m a Louisiana resident too
👉24:28 I SAY THIS ALL THE TIME BROTHER 🎯 ITS SPOT ON AND CORRECT 🤝 💪 👏 “HONE YOUR CRAFT” I preach this 🗣🔥💨 in my videos and tell guys n gals to find what works for them and PERFECT IT 👍 great video fellas 👏 👏 👏
Hey Justin I'm 14 and have all the basics for starting a pressure washer company but I can't drive yet and I don't want it to seem like a job for my parents as well any advice?
What do you guys think about just adding services such as rust removal in the quote then if they decline you can come back and say well if we don't do x then I can quote a lower price
I was in Advance autozone today and they have on the concrete outside next to the front door a lot of rust. Wondering of Coty or you can tell me if coty's product can remove that rust on it
Hey man I’ve got a few questions I’ve been working on starting a pressure washing business I’ve done some family members driveways and side walks and I’ve been testing chemicals just using a pump up sprayer it’s summer so the pavement is usually really hot and my mix seems to be boiling and evaporating pretty quickly I was wondering if I should be concerned about this or is there somthing that I can do to help this? I’m also very concerned with damaging any plants so I try to make sure to pre and post soak any grass etc but is there anything more I can do? I try to be mindful of not applying too much chemical but im not really sure how much I need to apply on it, the pump sprayer isn’t always consistent but it feels like I might be putting a little bit too much or I’m using way to less how can I tell? I obviously still want to be careful with plants and stuff but what if the run off of the water when your pressure washing a chemically treated sidewalk or somthing runs directly into grass or plants im not sure if it’s okay as long as I pre and post soak it very well? I’ve also avoided spraying up chemicals onto any parts of the house will that be okay if the direction your spraying with the pressure washer sprays chemical onto siding as long as you wash it after? I am sorry that’s a lot of stuff but I’m hesitant to do any strangers driveway or whatever because I don’t want to cause damage or make a mess since I haven’t pressure washed that much yet but yeah I’d appreciate if you helped awnser some of my questions 🙏😂
Hey I’m 20 just bought me a 2.5 Half gallon Pressure washer 3300 psi and Surface cleaner and I want to know how to mix the Chemicals like how much I need
Maybe someone can help me out! I just got into pressure washing/ soft washing I’m using the X jet downstream injector with a 5 gallon bucket. I’m using the southeast soft wash SH variety pack and I’m not sure what my mix ratio should be…
Just used Zip from Home Depot a couple hour ago in my garage. Did absolutely nothing. The light dirt came off but that was just from the pressure washer (Disappointing) to say the least. It still looks like ASS
I just quit my job today! I'm going into the pressure washing business. With full force, no other income is coming in. My issue is I'm in Australia and with exchange rates and shipping charges i was looking to buy local, do you know of an equivalent company in Australia that can provide me with the chemicals needed? I've searched the internet, but I haven't found a single source that provides everything I need.
Speaking of the Pacific Northwest (@19:45), I'm having trouble finding local chemical suppliers. I must be searching the wrong way, not sure. Can you help me find a supplier in the Seattle Area, or the Kitsap County area?
