He guys, I love this video because I am a masonry washer before I shoot bleach. I run behind 7 masonry companies in Georgia and a pool builder. My advice would be to let nmd-80 set longer, spray it twice like he said. rinse and maybe soak again. I like to let mine set for 15 minutes before rinsing
This may sound crazy, but my contractor told me to use Tide detergent to clean red clay off my concrete patio. The stains were about 4 years old. The yard had been dug up to place new drainage system and the dirt had sat and blown on patio. You work in a square foot area. Pour some Tide. Take a scrub brush and dip in water. Wet the area enough to work up a lather. Let it sit for about 1/2 hour. Put more water on to work up lather. At this time you can start scrubbing. Then rinse it completely sweeping the soap, water and stain away. Work from the inside of the patio out. This worked for me.
Sounds good but you don't have that kind of time when trying to make money. I saw someone else use aluminum polish for clay stains and it worked better than the stuff the guy used in this video. The brick were still dirty at 7:28
Well Ray looks like you are going to have some orders for your sprayer. Looks like you could get $300 or more for it. I can tell you I want one right now! Thanks Brother, man you are helping so many of us out here.
NMD-80 is used when it’s fresh read clay stains. If it’s been baked on we suggest OmeRestore. Check out the distributor locator at www.eacochem.com go under the distributor locator and put in your area code. May need to hit control R refresh the locator.
Are you using it on vinyl or hardy too or are you using something like one restore on anything other than brick and concrete? One restore works great on vinyl.
Hey man, what’s your advice on proper up sell amount for red clay... would also be interested to know what your minimum is if called out for red clay only. Thanks in advance!
Can you send me a parts list for that portable sprayer I can definitely build one myself but i like the tank and set up you are using in this video! Do u think u could also seal smaller Patios and stuff with this portable set up? Or would u want a bigger pump?
if I cant get a hold of the NMD80 will pressure be enough to get off the plinkers? the brick work has no clay stains, only bits of mortar here and there my customer wants off.
Will this work on concrete? And how many gallons did you need? I have a house job about that size. Heavy red clay stains on the house and concrete driveway/patios.
You should also add rain gear to your PPE. Or even a chemical resistant Tyvek suit. At best, you don't want you pants to get wet makes for a miserable day. At worst, you don't want those chemicals to spray back onto your clothes.
Ray, how was the brick after you used the NMD-80 and white tip? Was a lot of the sand removed in the process or did it hold up pretty good? I actually have a new construction home, with white sand faced brick to removed red dirt from. Could be helpful bc I could get in with this contractor doing this on most of his homes being built.
