I was expecting it to get cleaner, but I wasn't expecting how colorful the bricks would be.

Who knew that watching someone power wash steps and a patio could be so relaxing

It’s a good thing the owners picked coloured pavers. I felt deeper satisfaction watching the colours, come through, pop and reveal themselves. Job well done! Now a gardener can come in and work their magic too.

Honestly, I like me some aged and mossy things, they are charming in a way, but there's charming mossy and then there's just crusty and neglected. Definitely looks better after the wash! Appreciate the effort

You'll NEVER run out of work in England doing this. LOL! That's one of the most notable things I always observed in my travels there is how much moss grows EVERYWHERE and on everything.

The amount of crap you lifted was amazing mate. They should get you back more often to maintain it. The place looks great, job well done.

I saw all that moss and thought "damn I would need a shovel, some sharp tools and scrape the moss first but first second of him cleaning and I was mesmerised, those bricks are red in real! I cant imagine walking on the same set of steps daily thinking its a nice gray stone when in reality its YELLOW and all that stepping stones are in bright lovely colours?! mg

Ha! When you cleaned half of that step! I was jolted to remember when I was 16 I babysat for a neighbor. Her dining area/ kitchen was ivory colored vinyl tiles. They were pretty neglected. I cleaned them on my hands and knees. I left one in the center for her to see the difference. She was mad tho.

There are few things as satisfying as pressure washing. I did my driveway a few weeks ago. Took me 5 hours. Next best thing to doing it yourself is watching someone else doing good work. I'm enjoying your videos here in North Carolina, USA.

Great job, especially without chemicals too. I've always imagine doing this when I purchase a house of my own and it's going to be very satisfying however, it will only be once every how long because you can only get things so clean because it dirty to that level again.

My first thought was it uses a lot of water, but later I realized I would use the same amount of water if I scrub it manually and using buckets to wash off the soap and debris

I live on a farm, so we have a couple of pressure washers (one that works well for smaller jobs and vehicles which I use on my house because I'm afraid the in barn one will remove my stucco, haha). I need to pull mine out again. I attempted the bucket method on my front porch 2 years ago and goodness but the washer beats that out for sure.

You do fantastic work. I love the colors of the stones. I hope the owner repairs those bad spots & keeps those beautiful stones. Also there's far too many job sites that have bad drainage which is the root cause of ruined stonework.

Given the plants and stone damage you were having to work around added to the fact that the owner requested no chemicals I think you did a fantastic job! I loved the color of the slabs after you finished!!!
