I have one coming next week. The Butterfly is supposed to be one of the best Petromax Clones because its made from chromed brass, the other Chinese Clones are chromed steel and unless you look after them carefully they are prone to rusting, and as most were used for sea fishing they don't last long.
I have one of these BUT you have to be careful(so I was told) Mine was made in Malaysia and is chrome on brass, apparently the Chinese Butterfly's are chrome on Steel, so not so good!
mine is made in china. I understand that the quality is not good. However, I think it will be a good teaching material for understanding the structure of a pressurized lantern.
