This results in too much water and you will get mushy or wet rice and think it is not done. Just use the included cup for both rice and water, or your own measuring cup for rice and water according to your package directions. It will come out fine. I've used mine for years for brown and white rice. If your machine is bubbling white froth out of the steam vent then it means you should have rinsed your brand of rice first to remove some of the starch. Sheesh. Makes me wonder how people can cook well enough to feed themselves.

Maine video mein kya process dikhaya???? Aap khud ke mann se kuch bhi maat karo, video mein sab kuch clearly bataya hai, sirf usse follow karo. Spatula sirf cooked rice nikalne ke liye diya gaya hai, dusre kam ke liye nehi.
Bought a different prestige model. Main issue is after being refrigerated the rice is getting lumped after heating in a microwave and difficult to eat. Is there any solution?
1. If you refrigate the rice, please cover it or use a air tight container. 2. Do not put hot rice in refrigerator when it's hot, cool it down & then put it in refrigator.

You don't know how to use it, that's the main issue. It's a major problem that people like you don't read user manual before using home appliances. I am using this tice cooker twice daily & rice never overflowed for a single time.
There’s no rocket science in using it. Nd m sure even u haven’t nd will not read the manual completely. Would ask u to watch the video where the water almost overflew. Had u put one more cup rice it would have spilled out. Then u would have liked my comment. ✌️
@@SS-ps5em Why I would use 1 more cup rice? They have mentioned how much rice you can cook & how much water required. Why are you changing the measurement of your own?
@@MayukhSarkar1991 it is not my own measurement. This shows even u don’t read the manual. Min 1 cup to max 3 cup can b used for 1.8 version. Try putting 3 cups of rice which is max r even 2 cups. Also check other videos related to this issue for ur understanding regarding my concern.
@@SS-ps5em if you increase 1 cup of rice, you have to increase 2-3 cups of water depending upon rice quality. This is the 3rd brand I am using & never faced any issue which you are explaining. Rice will never come out if you do not exceed the limit. Maximum fluid can come out which I have faced with Koryo brand but rice would not come out & with prestige, fluid never came out. I follow the user manual & never faced any issue with this rice cooker.
