You're smashing it Dan 👍, that beach club had me daydreaming, lazing in the sun with the platform down and literally hovering above the water, very cool in my opinion. 👍❤️🇬🇧

Prestige had a reputation for being "a bit shit" which was always unfair but compared to the ultra-deluxe of Princess and Sunseeker they were definitely a rung behind. Or at least that was the common verdict. But their recent work, I think still well behind Princess/Sunseeker prices, are really innovative. Definitely punching above their weight in terms of price points. Look at the M48 power cat, designed from the ground-up as one. One of the best value - and best sized - sub-50 motorboats on the market. IMO Prestige are now a lot more prestigious than perhaps they once were considered.

You’re absolutely right. I definitely think they’ve always been great boats - for the value. Sure they weren’t ultra high end fit and finishes but that was sort of by design. Bang for your buck was always there with prestige and a very efficient and economical vessel. Now, they are making strides toward the future and I’ve been very impressed with what I’ve seen and where they are headed. The X60 just won the World Yacht Trophies for Best Innovation at the festival. Big things coming! Thank you for watching and for your great input!

Great looking boat - the now area is very comfy ! I really like the option to have shaft drives - no pod seal problems ( people try to hide that expensive issue). Shafts are simpler less expensive to maintain. These are great boats and are very reasonable especially for the second owner.

I agree. Great design 100% love the innovation, not too sure about the quality though. Would be great if princess or fairline made a similar boat.

@@robertfrost1683 exactly, much less to worry about, marine transmissions (at least on diesels) are nearly bulletproof. Such simple systems.

I've never been the best Prestige fan, for no other reason than there was something just a tick or two nicer, but this... This is a game changer. In a three cabin setup it makes leap's 'n bounds up! All-around footprint, layout and fresh design is working.. Even has me feeling they may have a new face on the design team.

The PRESTIGE X60 has been definitely one of my good surprise of the CYF, that would be interesting to compare it to the other shipyard's latest model, the M48, a powercat!

I thought the M48 was interesting for sure. Master stateroom was very large, though I thought the head/shower layout was unique. I liked the bow and the flybridge areas on the M48. With a 19’ beam on the M48, the salon felt surprisingly smaller than the X60. Between the two vessels, I think overall functionality and practicality will depend a lot on where one does their boating. In the Great Lakes, having a powercat with that much beam makes it very difficult to find slips. Perhaps in Florida or Mediterranean, cats are much easier to find slips for. To me, X60 trumps the M48 but I am definitely intrigued with the M48. Thank you for watching and for your great feedback and input! Cheers!

I like this design. I liked the 70, but the 60 is better. I like the F range like the 590. The new catamaran looks awesome too, but they need to make it bigger. I think if they treated their smaller boats like catamarans with the layouts of the suites, you could really change things for smaller yachts with big potential

Just curious..... With out starboard sideboards are you still able to put out fenders on the starboard side? Seems like a bit of a challenge.. Great video Ask the way from Lake Ontario!

Great question! I had the same questions before getting to actually use the vessel. After spending 4+ days on a delivery (new video out now!), I can tell you it’s not as difficult as you’d think. Of course you would ideally plan to dock port to, but if ever needed, you are provided with extra long fender whips which allow you to run the amidships fenders from the flybridge rail. It’s an extra step in the fender prep but not overly difficult. You only really need two midship fenders for a standard docking or fueling for that side. Thank you for watching and for the great attention to detail on the question. Cheers!

Sad about the very limited range. otherwise nice boat.
@ElevateYacht
@ElevateYacht Год назад
I don’t disagree that the fuel tanks are smaller than I’d hope for but if you look at it, you’ve still got plenty of cruising capabilities. Many vessels tout 900nm range or whatever and sure this has about 350nm or something but even at 350, you’re able to travel well over 12 hours at cruising speeds. A vessel this size isn’t going 24/7 with a full time crew. If you’re traveling with family or whoever, you’re still going to stop at a marina or would be within range to stop at a fuel location to top up and keep moving. I suppose it depends where you’re doing your boating, but here in the states, you’re rarely ever that far away from the next available fuel stop, so though it sounds limiting next to a 900nm range, when are you ever going that long without fueling? Thank you for watching and for your great input! Cheers
