Thatcher was the same in the U.K. She led by inspiration and transformed the country's economy and success. But unfortunately, a politician only lasts so long. And such inspirational politicians are very rare and very few and far between.
IMO, people tend to either follow the system blindly without question, or routinely question the system before agreeing with it. While this may or may not be true, in my travels I've found that the more academically educated a person is, the less likely they are to question the system they've believed in all of their life. When I realized this, I was actually quite surprised because it's the opposite of what I expected.
Yep. (though not exclusively - there are always exceptions) Covid revealed this principle vividly. Highly educated docs and professionals bought into the fiction en masse. Education does not make you smarter.
Real estate margins are being compressed by increasing operating costs (taxes, insurance, maintenance) while rental rates are stagnating or decreasing .. the value and ROI of real estate is decreasing in fiat terms . There are faster horses with less risk. #Bitcoin
The reason many people don’t do bitcoin is that they are exhausted keeping their heads above water and getting through what is in front of them. Our societies are very well “monkey” trained. So exhausted that they have no head space to even think. We have to find ways to help.
Most of the gold in private ownership was never surrendered to the government in spite of the government banning the private ownership. People will disobey if the government goes to confiscation, which may have an impact on the price of bitcoin but not enough to make people go to a CBDC or back to fiat.
