in this, i see both iwaizumi and oikawa in the wrong. iwaizumi should have opened up about his insecurities, since he and oikawa are literally engaged. like? you’re getting married to someone who’s known and loved you for so long and a person who isn’t a stranger to insecurities. if just talked to him, oikawa would have understood!! oikawa is definitely in the wrong for constantly doing these pranks and not thinking about iwaizumis feelings. in the end, instead of communicating iwaizumi vented to someone who wasn’t even a part of the relationship in any way, shape, or form and premeditated leaving. oikawa continued on with these hurtful jokes and the lack of communication is what fucked them over in the end. as someone who was broken up like the way iwaizumi did minus the cheating and insecurities part. more so the, venting to a friend for advice instead of talking about it and solving the issues. it fucking hurts knowing that instead of coming to you, the person they’re dating, to discuss how they’re not satisfied with something or if recently they’ve been having insecurities they decided to talk to their friend because YES a party outside this relationship will fix this the best. in addition, to that, the only solution they had was to wait? for him to magically read his mind and just know what iwaizumis thinking and feeling? without any hint of glimpse? isn’t a couple suppose to be TWO people together trying to make their love work? and when the problems that were never discussed don’t get fixed after waiting, they decide leaving is the best option... yes you do that. clearly, their years of friendship and years of dating and who knows of being engaged didn’t serve as a lesson in communication at all, then again it is understandable that he would look out for his mental health first and i totally respect that but goddamn maybe if y’all mf’s sat down and talked ma 😥😩 damn i’m out here crying and shit this is so meta, great video overall
