talking with non-natives, at least personally, you can sometimes get a feeling on when you have to slow down, for example here it was like a set phrase you'd see in a textbook 'are you from china'

At first i was so shook🤣🤣👌🏾 then i remembered that while speaking Arabic and English my voice tone is the same, but when i speak Korean my voice tone is subconsciously way softer and smoother smh💀 idk if its related to the actual languages or if its that the tones normally change😂

I can’t be 100% sure if chinese people value fair skin because everyone has different opinions but personally I’ve got fair skin and some of my relatives and people i know, compliment me for it so I guess it’s kind of true but I think everyone is beautiful no matter skin colour

@@iynewz Good to know, I consider her pretty too. I understand that everybody has different standards as individuals. But mostly I'm basing this on reading Chinese novels where the girl is tanned and ugly but gets prettier as she exfoliates and becomes white again. It's not racism but kinda like classism, where you are considered rich and spoiled if you didn't have to work under the sun. They also value fair skin in Egypt where I live but it's not to a big degree, where it's highlighted in the media. But we do have the whitening products of course.
Actually, there’s a scientific explanation for that. We do change personalities when switching languages. So, that’s why it’s really confusing when you speak your language with another another language at once. You need to create a personality that can speak both of those at the same time. I can speak Tagalog and English. Therefore, I can speak Taglish, which sometimes is really confusing, but you’ll get the hang of it. I’m still learning other languages, and, yeah, a hint of personality changes is something you’ll notice. Actually, it’s fun that you can explore more about yourself.
