Pretty Lights is the musical vision of Derek Vincent Smith, originally of Fort Collins, CO who makes music best described as "electro hip-hop soul."
In the fall of 2023, Smith returned from a 5-year hiatus with the Soundship Spacesystem Tour 2023, a new live musical project including four additional band members and the introduction of the Swirl Bridge, a live auditory-visual experience of Pretty Lights music never before seen, heard, or anticipated, and amazing to behold.
