Dear Susan, you are a troublemaker. 😂😂 I had to go look at the Colorama Halo cakes. The colors are some of the prettiest I have seen in a while. Now to stay in control. ❤❤❤❤❤
Love that you chose the outdoor setting to show off your shawl. Perfect! Loved it! The falling snow adds some sparkle , especially in your hair. I have wanted some of that yarn for some time but I have another ombré yarn I could use. I looked for this yarn a couple times and could not find it at Michaels. Now Caron has another fluffy cake. Thank you for your creative pattern! BTW I just found you today and I really like your blanket patterns. Might even inspire me to do more blankets. Generally steer away from projects that take too long.
I absolutely love your work! I live in Wisconsin, and right now we are going through a blizzard. This is the perfect wrap to stay indoors with and keep you warm 💖💖💖
Hi! I'm in Central Minnesota and we only got about an inch of snow....send the storm our way!😊 we really haven't gotten much snow this winter yet. The cold has finally come though. Highs still in the minus's. Not even as cold as our usual winters. Definitely strange weather this last yr. Take care in the storm. Be safe! Crochet blankets and keep yourselves warm😊
You & I both. Whan I watched this video I knew that I was starting it today for. Myself. I am going to try a different yarn that is also a bulky 5. Fingers crossed.
I have 6 cakes of this color, its my favorite of all the colors. My 2 nieces (adults) would love this! A bit of the cold weather has hit here in Minnesota, finally, so i am going to crochet a couple of these! Thank you for the tutorial ❤
Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial and pattern. So beautiful and your instructions are so clear and easy to follow along. I learn better seeing what you are doing vs reading a pattern so much appreciated ❤
Hi Susan, this beautiful scene and soft colors remind me of The Chronicles of Narnia. 🥰 I love pashminas, also and wrapping up in them is comforting, I think.
It's Beautifully Snugalicious!!! I just came up with a new word!! That's how Awesome this is and I cannot wait to make it!! Thank you for sharing your talents and God Bless You! ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing this beautiful project with us & having an awesome introduction outdoors in nature. I will definitely be watching more of your videos. God bless . Peace & Love ❤️
This is so beautiful. I absolutely love this yarn! I have used it for a few projects including one lovely sweater. Now I will try this one. I think I may make it a bit longer. Thank you for sharing this very dainty pattern. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
THAT IS A BEAUTIFUL STITCH. A STITCH THAT DOESNT LOOK BORING. AND THE WHOLE THING JUST LOOKS SO WARM AND FLUFFY. IM GOING TO ATTEMPT TO MAKE ONE WITH YOU. LOL WISH ME LUCK. THANK YOUSO MUCH FOR SHARING WITH US. ITS BEAUTIFUL
Thank you Pretty Peaceful for sharing this pattern. It’s a beautiful pattern made with beautiful yarn. I bought this same yarn to tackle this pashmina project. I’m not an advanced crocheter, and I struggled with the size 12mm hook. It made my HDC stitches look sloppy. (I know I need to work on my tension.) I will try going down a hook size. Can’t wait to see how it turns out. I enjoy watching your videos and I subscribed to your channel. 😊
The minute i saw this video i stopped everything i was doing in its tracks and just wated to pick up my tin and tan and START!!!! Thank you amazing wrap!! xx
Watched most of your videos on caron colorama patterns. WELL I feel in love with the yarn a d patterns. I bought 10 caron colorama yarn in 2 of each color. Soon decided to donate some yarn I don't like to make room for the caron. Can hardly wait for my yarn to be delivered. Going g to make friends and family a shawl ty❤
Wow, haven’t seen your channel before, but I love the vibe, especially the outdoor setting at the beginning. I have 2 skeins of that yarn and I will be working them into this beautiful pashmina shortly! Thank you. ❤
I bought this yarn but it's pink to green. I made this Pashmina with it and I love it so much. I'd never done corner to corner before, but your instruction was great. The only thing I would have liked to have seen was the corner finished on the first square. I got a little stuck and you had finished it and moved onto the next square without me seeing the corner finished off.
Wrap so lovely…and simple…looks as if you crocheted as the yarn came forth off cake without color control…if so I luv it even more…thx for sharing your beautiful design….xo
Hi oh my goodness your wrap is gorgeous the colours are so pretty it looks so cosy and warm.love it.thanks for sharing.the scene behind you looks like a painting.happy crocheting from Ireland I subscribed.💖💖
Beautiful shawl! I used that Tin and Tan to make your Grateful blanket for my sister for Christmas and she loves it. I'm getting my yarn together to make this shawl. I also just bought your book and the items are all so wonderful I don't know where to begin lol. Thank you for your channel and time, it does my heart good!!
Big fan of your work and your soothing, calm voice. This looks absolutely stunning and I wish this yarn was sold here in Sweden. Thank you for another great tutorial!
I just picked up some of this right after Thanksgiving. Got 2 skeins of each color. Definitely going to try this shawl with it. Yours is so gorgeous! Thanks for sharing this with us!!😊😊❤❤❤
Major question on this project…I’ve tried two different times and I’ve had to use more than one cake to complete half of the shawl. I’m 200-230 stitches short but I’m on target for a completion of 22’ x 74’ - and I have no idea where I went off the rails. My gauge is off at 6st = 4 with a K hook, but if my measurements are right that shouldn’t matter…right? Anyhow, this piece is gorgeous and you are an excellent tutor. Can’t wait to give this Shrapmina (the name I’ve given it) to my niece at Christmas.
This is a gorgeous shawl perfect for me to make. I try not to use acrylic as it is petrochemical by product. I'll see if there is a natural bulky yarn that will give me a similar finish. Thank you so much for sharing your pattern. ❤
Thank you! I hear you about acrylic. I used all natural and local wools and cottons for my book Crochet Southwest Spirit because they are my favorite yarns, but I use acrylic sometimes too. I really like Blue Sky Organic Cotton yarn, which is bulky weight. 🧶
Hello, my name is Isabel and this is my first time watching your video. You are very good in your instructions. I like that a lot and I hope to learn from you. Thank you for sharing your talent. God bless you 🙏 ❤️
Wow that’s absolutely gorgeous! I just ordered 2 cakes of Halo and my algorithm brought you to me! I’m super excited to make this and to sub to your channel! 🙏💜
Great tutorial! I don't usually like crochet C2C, but this alternative looks so nice worked up in the yarn. :D (Kudos on your mattress stitch. That yarn makes things a little hard to see.)
Wow looks loosed and soft like knit. I don't knot but crochet but never follow patterns i just go off in lala land experimenting and every winter don't accomplish much 😅 .
Thank you for the beautiful pattern and most of all thank you for showing how you did the mattress stitch. I've been crocheting for over 60 years at least and my sewing things together leaves a lot to be desired. I'm not good at it at all.
Gorgeous! Well done. Thank you so much for sharing. I love shawls and pashminas. Very much appreciate you showing how to wear them too. New subscriber😊 Namaste
Never liked C2C, but in this cloud soft yarn it's luscious! Using an N hook it's a little short for a wrap. Any suggestions how to increase length without doing a third panel? Thanks for this lovely video.
Thank you! Perhaps you could add some stripes of plain double crochet along the short ends to make it longer. It might make a nice ombre stripe effect.
There’s special shoes for snow?! Aussie here, never seen snow in my life, it’s usually 100-110 degrees where I live so I can’t make nice thick shawls like this but it’s still fun to watch you make it. My teens have me crocheting viral tiktok butterfly halter tops etc 😂
Thank you! Without the snow shoes it would be impossible to go for a walk around here for a few months of winter. Walking without them is called “post hole-ing” because your foot goes several feet down like you’re digging a hole for a fence post. 😂 It’s really tiring.
I’ve made one of your blankets and really like this yarn. Could you just continue the wrap without making 2 pieces? Like adding the same color to continue the flow of colors?
Found your channel recently in middle of night/insomnia🙄 Ordered this yarn from Joann's and making it🤩 My yarn seem much lighter in color than yours🥺 ...like a faded version on your yarn🤔 Still love the pattern. Ordered book from Amazon😃
