I think he felt he had to address the situation because he's actually friends with both of them. Fortunately, he's staying neutral, even though he thinks they're both wrong.
First of all this isn’t your place to speak on because that causes drama just stay out of it cause you be the main one saying that you don’t think you did anything,stop saying stuff that has nothing to do with you and maybe you can keep friends!
Fortunately, he said they're both wrong and he is staying neutral to the beef. So, it seems as if he taking the mature route and staying out of it, which is smart because he's friends with both of them.
