I used Botox and fillers to "bridge" myself through my 50s when I was menopausal, dealing with a changing body image and making great money at my job. No 67 yo and don't need nor want more injectables. I am retired, so happy and content, dropped the Botox/fillers/hair color. My "secret" now is great skin care (with actives), a good diet, maintaining beautiful hair, exercise and a happy life. ❤️
Tried Botox for the first time at age 30. I’m now 40 with no static wrinkles other than minor fine lines around my eyes from smiling. Only get it maybe 1-2 times a year. My esthetician uses just enough to prevent those deep lines but still allows me facial expression, as i don’t like being frozen. Love it.
I am 56 and I have never tried Botox. I have always been into good skin care and that has served me well so far. Most people think I am at least 10 years younger than I am which is good enough for me!
@@svalerie98 most people will return around the 3 or 4 month mark as this is when it tends to wear off, everyone’s metabolism is different so the breakdown rate is different for everyone
My friend starting using Botox in her 20’s and by mid 30’s it wasn’t working for her. Was told she has antibodies against Botox. And with long term use and atrophy of the underlying facial muscles when she could no longer use Botox, she wrinkled so bad and looked aged. Now in her late 30’s she’s had a mini face lift
Its funny how ppl care about wrinkles and fight them but they dont actually make you look old . Even some teens or guys in their early 20s have them and do they look old ? nope you can clearly tell they are young despite them having wrinkles . Same if you take someone in their 40s without single wrinkle , you can still tell their not 20 something . Shape of the face is where its at and skin quality . do you agree ?
Yes, so the bone structure changes which is why you don’t look exactly the same anymore. No matter how perfect you make yourself look at that age and yes, you may look younger than that age doesn’t mean you look exactly the same as when you were 20. You can fight aging but not evolution.
I got botox at 23. I am in school, and I found myself scowling all the time. It was giving me headaches, and I just wished I could weaken my eyebrows!! I got a very small amount, and it cost me 80 bucks. It worked! Honestly I don't really care what people have to say about it. It's my body, I can do what I want.
Maybe a bit of a different perspective than a lot of people that I thought I would share: have a neuromuscular condition that acts in a kind of similar way to botox. Several doctors joked to me in my early 20s "oh, well you'll never need botox now!" and it was so crass - what I wouldn't give to be able to express myself, laugh, smile, live life, who cares about wrinkles right now! I decided botox wasn't something I would get, and the wrinkles I have now, ten years later and in remission from my disorder, are indicators of my health and ability to live well and meaningfully. It can be hard seeing my face change and additional lines show up, but now I'm slowly coming to peace with the fact that I'm just going to be a wrinkly lady as I age! I've been seeing this preventative botox stuff everywhere and it frustrates me when it's marketing as a *need*, especially for people who are still quite young. I'm glad that you guys provided such a balanced perspective that allows people to make informed decisions that are right for themselves.
I have had bilateral facial palsy due to post covids side effects that neared gbs last year at 23 yo. and though it was kind of fascinating to be able to feel and learn things from such a situation for myself (i treat it as an important life experience despite it being at times horrible and at times an inconvenience, unbelievable, and at times funny situation when i was laughing but ppl couldn't tell and i had to explain, it was also scary because i was 99%/possibly 100% unable to move my face, which means you cant even close your eyes well when you sleep (hence you need eye lubricants etc to prevent them from drying out and being infected), you cant chew well without supporting your cheeks with your hand or drink well (you have to be careful so neither falls out of your mouth, because you cant feel your face hence its hard to feel most of the jaw and tongue either hence you can have slurred speech).. Plus your face may pain especially if you are doing facial exercises but it aint working. And the fear of it lasting for a lifetime/long time is scary. I had this situation for 10 days till proper treatment and till 1 month+ of slowly resolving.. But its hard for ppl who have it for a life time.. And may be some ppl don't always make jokes in bad way but for those who do, thats not ok (especially in your situation when it was kinda problematic). Obv theres no way ppl d get botox to that level, but still just wanted to put it here because sure if the intensity of it was in the patients hands like botox then it would be like botox, but ppl cant control how much face is frozen in such illnesses and thats scary, so its also a reminder for ppl that get it done excessively and for ppl that joke about it as a replacement for a botox, of course depending on how its said i may or may not mind, because it can seem that way,but just stating the hardships that its nowhere like botox when you truely get to know about it. I too agree that showing a more a balanced way and where ppl dont freeze their face too much and get it in as low doses as possible, just enough to prevent the wrinkles but not enough to remove the expressions as the 2 comments below by @user-qz3nv8hi7d says.and may be its a good idea for ppl who just want to get them as a way to not over do it. And yep it really shouldn't be marketed as a "NEED" its ok to have people who come to terms with it and accept ageing. I have had premature wrinkles+eye bags or may be just eye bags that makes it look like premature wrinkles under my eyes since i was 15/17-24yo due to sleep issues and other health issues and though due to sleeping well and taking care of health they have reduced a lot i understand that i ll have to deal with them later or may be even now some of the slight premature wrinkles i have since i didn't use sunscreen before i was 18 yo at all because i didn't like its oiliness/the white cast/consistency/heaviness/comedogenecity etc (tho i did use protective clothing but that wasnt always enough or possible) and it took me a while to find the one i liked and till then i procrastrinated it. So i take skin care seriously now too..
Girl, do it. I had puffy eyes my whole life and was so self conscious. I had under eye fillers years ago and so glad I did. My bags have gone away and it has brought confidence.
@@mikam8801 I’ve heard about this but I’ve had trouble finding someone reputable to go to for this (I want to avoid medspas)! Most places seem to only offer typical fillers. But I’ll try to look into it more, thank you!

Two of them just got diagnosed with breast cancer so Botox, and all that jazz is not on their minds. They were never ones to follow trends or feel insecure. Even if I said something they would listen but still go with their decision. To be honest, I know one ex friend who did her nose and it ain’t pretty. super informative thank you. I am 36 and had no wrinkles until this year when I had a baby. I found postpartum destroyed my skin and was trying to determine what approach to take. I learned so much in this video!
Just had my first botox (& filler) experience at the age of 63. Not in my 20's. 63. Between my diet and good skincare, I haven't really needed botox. But I was offered a good deal to try it. My vid goes live on Feb 17, 2023 where I show the whole process, including the procedure itself. 😉
Thank you for acknowledging the mature face and that aging is natural and beautiful! I love your channel, always look forward to your next lesson, and now have a healthy skin care routine for myself because of you both!
I’m so glad i found this channel. I can’t get into a dermatologist to ask questions about my skin until NEXT may. we only have 2 dermatologists in my area, and they’re booked out an entire year. it’s insane.
I’m in between health insurances after recently changing jobs, and started using Agency (an online derma service) to get my Tretinoin prescribed. For whatever reasons I had hang ups about it beforehand, but they check in frequently and really help you listen to YOUR skin.
I’ve personally found an aesthetician much much more helpful for skincare questions and treatments. My derm has all of 7 minutes to spend with me. My aesthetician does an hour facial and we talk products and skincare at least half the time. I’ve learned so much from her in just a couple sessions. I’ve seen others on this channel mention their dermatologists don’t have the patience or interest to go in depth about skincare
I’m so glad you say this as ‘preventative botox’ was so obviously a great idea of a marketing/sales person at a big pharma company, and was always clearly bollocks. I know a 26 year old who got it and I was so shocked. I wish they’d leave people alone to enjoy being young
its funny how stupid people dont even watch the video, the video says something totally opposite, that botox IS USED FOR PREVENTION of wrinkles and if u start using it only after u develop static wrinkles, it wont help that much. and yet u desperately want to find proofs for your bullshit beliefs that you dont even care to listen. u just hear one word and jump into conclusion they agree with your bullshit. listen, nobody requires of you to have perfect skin, you can be ugly if you want, just dont spread lies.
I use tretinoin and daily sunscreen, but I have a hugely expressive face and already have pretty deep fine lines, I wouldn’t say quite yet wrinkles, but definitely deep fine lines, at 24. So I’m getting Botox for the first time next week. Everyone is different!
I heard an interesting article on the psychological effects of freezing expression. We think we feel something, and our face forms the expression. But the reverse is true too. You form a facial expression and then feel the emotion. The research was then delving into how limited are our feelings from using Botox type substances. And they found that many people have finished emotional feeling or growth. Fasciinating
I’ve read similar things to this too. And actually a really interesting article about how babies learn emotion by mimicking their mother’s facial expressions. So there could be a potentially important side effect of mothers in their 20s and 30s getting Botox! Obviously this all needs further research, I just find it interesting that Botox is considered “low risk” just because there aren’t many long term physical side effects, but the communication aspect of facial expression is ignored. I guess there’s no benefit for pharmaceutical companies to fund research in this area.
I have noticed this too!! I actually have had Botox twice and I feel happier lmao. I have very strong muscles between my brows and am constantly giving a frowning look and so I feel kinda grumpy/serious. When it’s relaxed, I look and feel relaxed! 😂
My bff got it without telling me and I kept getting a gut feeling she was being more fake than usual but couldn’t figure out why I felt this. When she finally told me it made sense given I probably was subconsciously picking up her face wasn’t moving naturally when expressing
I didn’t start till I was 33 when I started developing fine lines, and the toxin did completely get rid of them. You don’t need to start until you start noticing fine lines/wrinkles (unless you’re using toxin for facial slimming in the masseters, etc.).
I had static wrinkles from drug abuse, I got clean at 25 I’ve been getting Botox for 2 years and it’s changed my skin. It’s amazing. I now get about 25 units every 6 months for prevention.
I really hope looking your age becomes a trend soon. Something about the obsession with looking 20 something for the rest of your life really makes me feel sick. I love seeing how my body has changed over the years, I'm only 26 and get mistaken as a teenager so maybe im clueless but society at large has a terribly unhealthy relationship with the stages of life and its sad.
I think people go crazy when someone is thirty or over thirty, they glorify their 20s as heck. Doesn’t even makes sense, you’re still really young at 30
@@direfranchement I'm excited to look older, it's a pain in the ass to be looked at as a teenager when you're in a professional setting. and what's so beautiful in old age? that your body and brain rots away, you get more and more sicknesses and your body cant keep up like it used to, also your brain is functioning worse? looking old will never be a trend. just like looking sick will never be a trend. just like when u shop for idk, apples. you never buy those that look rotten, ugly, have some weird things on them, you always look for those who look beautiful.
Loved this video, they are not saying “preventative Botox,” even in your 20s, is an absolute good or bad. It’s personal choice. Just make sure you are getting it done by a qualified professional and know what it actually is and what you’re paying for.
I love Botox. Currently I'm 37 and 2 days ago I was at an event where someone said they thought I was 26 (which mid-20s is the age people usually put me at based on appearance). I actually started with Dysport and want to try that again after years of Botox. I started when I was 32 and after a few months (seeing how my body responded, moved and had to find a new injector), I have been getting 20 units of Botox every 3 months. Mind you- the recommended units from the company are often higher than what you may actually need. My injector shared that the suggested units by Botox was like, way higher, but we are able to do less and get results I'm happy with. I think it's also important to note that I also eat healthy, don't drink or smoke, get adequate sleep, take precaution with sun exposure and invest in skincare. I say that because Botox won't solve all your concerns if you aren't always taking care of yourself and your skin. It might give you a quick fix but often times a true lifestyle change is required to get the kinds of results I think a lot of people are hoping for when they see people that have great skin or look young for their age. Anyway, I hope this was helpful! I'm happy to answer any questions and wish you the best in your aging endeavors!
so botox make you also dement and if it comes in your blooth, you can very die. you can kill with 1mg 500thousand peoples. and you think, it is very good for your body and brain? very naiv.

I've been getting botox since I was 24. I'm 35 now and I have no static wrinkles at all - I only get a small amount all over which means I have some dynamic movement (softening) but I have successfully prevented the deeper static wrinkles developing. It's a personal choice that I have not regretted in 11 years. You do you - as long as you do it well.
I had an experience with Botox, I injected it around the eye and after two weeks I developed diplopia, my ophthalmologist told me that it usually happens, a minority but it happens, last me two months with that situation and since then I don't use it again 🤦🏽♀️
They look great. They look 30's with work done. It's subtle and very great work but you can tell that they've had something. That's where I'm torn. Bc even if it's good work, it's not going to look genuine all the way. Bc you can always spot out other tells like the grey hair. So we can't cheat time but we can definitely buy the best chunk of time
I got Botox for the first time this year and I’m 25, I love it! I use tretinoin every night and apply my spf always. I also did a lip flip with Botox and loved it since I wasn’t ready for filler.
Almost like you guys read my mind lol. I’m now 48 and I’ve been contemplating Botox but I ask myself do you really need it?? How about concentrating on your skincare which has helped me tremendously. Now I know when I truly should start to think about it. 👍🏾

I have a friend that started getting Botox at age 18!!!! That is insane. She has been getting Botox twice a year since age of 18 and is now 27 and I don’t know why but she looks way older than I do and I have not gotten it
@@BBee13 that’s true and also her skin looks way thinner and like latex skin that you pull tight. So she doesn’t have wrinkles but she has that fake tight and very thin looking skin like the older ladies. We associate young skin with fat and plumpness, so the Botox might give smooth but fake tight thin skin
It does make your face look older, and that is because a youthful face is full, when you use Botox these muscles will relax and create a flatter appearance and sometimes hollowness, hence the aged look
I have a friend I met her when she was 30 and she'd had botox all throughout her 20s. In my opinion it made her look older...like an older woman who was trying to look 30!
I'm 35 and only started developing dynamic wrinkles in the last 3 years and only fine lines in the last year. Thankfully I've been very sun safe & have great genes from my Mum's side. I just got my first tret script, so excited to try it! 😊 I was a beauty therapist so I'm more comfortable with a skincare option than injectable toxins.
Could you guys talk about the side effects after years of use? I used to do Botox my my neck and shoulders for pain relief for a year when I started noticing that my neck muscles became weak and my head shakes now when ever I do any activity like yoga,I can’t hold it properly. Maybe people need to know long term side effects of using these products! Take care every one
That is why I feel so hesitant to do it. We don’t know the long term side effects. Muscle mass is too important, even for your face. Idk I also want my liver to focus on other things besides the neurotoxins that create Botox
I’m 51 and get Botox maybe once or twice a year, it’s definitely not necessary as I don’t have strong wrinkle contraction on my face naturally, but I love the Botox lip lift 😘. I really don’t see why anyone who is young would want to spend their hard-earned money on this when they don’t have wrinkles yet. I only started doing it in my 40’s.
with 40s man hasn`t also big wrinkels. And botox make you dement. That is a old study. you can kill with 1mg 500thousand persons. This is a killer stuff and not healthy.
I started botox at age 35 and only have done it 4 times, now im age 40. I honestly rely more on my skincare and if I feel that my elevens are becoming more visible, I go get botox again. I do this because my elevens look to visible and didn't want to have an angry appearence. Other than that, people should start when they see severe wrinkles.
yes and you are also dement after the time through botox. you can kill with this stuff 500thousand oeples. and if it comes in your blooth, you can die. nice stuff.
My dermatologist started at 27 and i started at 28. I really enjoy the light lift around my eyes and still have good movement to my eyebrows. I only get it 2x a year right now and im very happy. I was scared of losing my face that i recognize.
I get Botox for migraines and it has been a miracle for me. I never really thought about long term side effects. i know y'all aren't neurologists but I'd appreciate if you could touch on the difference between cosmetic and medical botox (amounts, distribution, etc). You mentioned antibodies against Botox and uh.... That's scary tbh. It reduces/prevents my migraines so well and i hate to think it could backfire :( I'm 26 and fair skinned so obvi the cosmetic side effects are nice but I'm wondering if there's something else out there!
I also get botox for migraines and I asked my neurologist about the antibodies and whether I should ne worried that it would eventually stop working. It's been stressing me out so much to hear about how we should wait to start botox, etc! I was relieved to hear how he thinks this fear is way overblown (at least when it comes to pain relief, we did not talk about the cosmetic effect of botox at all). Though he said it may be less efficient for a few months sometimes, but it does not mean it is backfiring. It's just his opinion, but I thought I'd share it, because it was such a relief to me when I heard it!
I don't think so. I use botox for grinding my teeth. It paralyzes my muscles so that I can't grind them as hard and do damage. I asked this to my doctor and she said it will always come back, even if weaker. The muscles won't just stop working
@@kikistimi8337 I clench my teeth when I sleep and it causes incredibly painful jaw pain. I might bring that up to my orthodontist next week at my appointment! Do you notice if it hinders chewing ability?
I heard that from one of Dr. Tim Pearce's videos so I am interested in learning more about whether that is a concern or not according to research. If one is not using a muscle then it will atrophy, but how much of a concern is it for facial muscles? If that is indeed the case, what are the effects? What percentage of neuromodulator users does it affect and how frequently and to what extent are they "freezing" their facial muscles?

Been getting botox as I turned 22 due to having a super overactive muscle in my chin, which also caused a big chin crease. Sadly this is all due to a recessive chin, but the confidence boost a sprinkle of botox and some filler have given me is incredible. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I started last year, at 44 years of age, because my kids kept asking me if I was angry - I have really strong glabellar muscles and developed heavy brows with age, or in other words, a pronounced resting angry b***h face. The results are amazing and most of the static wrinkles are not there any longer (which, I guess, would make them ”semi-static” really).
Been getting Botox since I was 32. Now I’m 46 and look late 20s/early 30s- I feel like it saved me tbh. I was born and raised in Fla laying out with baby oil 😱 I did 4 threads in each side of my face - I DO NOT RECOMMEND. it was painful, expensive and did absolutely nothing but cause pain in my face for about a month
I tried threads too and do not recommend! It was way more invasive than expected and took a long time to heal (was tender for like a month). Results were minimal and didn’t last. It wasn’t for me!
I just got it done yesterday I’m 37. I take very good care of my skin the the nurse didn’t think I needed much. So take care of your skin first and most importantly.
Thank you! The end part was really healthy and encouraging when you both said to just rock the wrinkles. I'm 39. I keep thinking of preventable botox, I don't have any lines yet but you guys gave me a happy perspective on just accepting things as they come too! 🥰
than it is fact. you get also through botoy demenz. Not so healthy... Sty more by natural oldiers. Botox doesn`t help against it. And if it comes in your blooth, you can die.
My question is, what are the long lasting effects of continually damaging the muscle with Botox? Will you eventually not be able to have total facial expression?
We have a lady in our office who is 29. She gets Botox, chemical peels, had lip fillers, a nose job, boob implants and talking about a bbl. I know about this because she is always talking about beauty enhancements with others. The problem is that no one wants to tell her, but you can tell she has had a lot done. She has ruined her natural beauty, and looks 29yo and 50yo at the same time. Ladies, stop with the excessive cosmetic procedures. It does not make you look younger. Its like doing touch up painting over 15 year old paint on a home. You can clearly see the work that is done.
Curious as why do you think she is doing it to look younger? Remember beauty is subjective. Some people like the more exaggerated look, and are well aware of it. Just as some people are gonna think you are hot, some people think you are ugly. No matter what, because it’s subjective. So just do what makes YOU feel the best.

@@michaelh7527 How can you tell that from just a simple comment? If someone wants to get a procedure, it's their business. Plus why is your comment only tackling women? Men also get work done on their faces. Not everyone aims for natural beauty, although it might be a shock to you.

THese injections age you. You may have no wrinkles but you will look older faster. Better to moisturize and sunscreen. I look half my age because I never put these things in my face.
I started botox at 26. I am 42 now and I don’t have any wrinkles. So basically it worked, but I also had the best existing skin care products all those years. I did not get used to botox, did it strictly once a year.
How do u know if worked though? I’m almost 42, also do not have a single wrinkle yet have never had Botox. I think genetics plays a huge part in the way we age. I do try to use good skin care too but am not 100% consistent with it. I do have very oily skin though and always have - with break outs and pimples probably being my biggest skin concern (I still get break outs even at 40). I don’t know the truth to it, but have always been told people with oily skin are less prone to wrinkles… maybe our skin gurus will see this and can weigh in.
@@lindseygolden387 I see many people my age who don’t do botox and with all respect they all have deep wrinkles and look 5-10 years older than me. Mimic wrinkles get quite deep by 40 without botox, no matter of genetics, they are unavoidable without injections, this is skin physiology. Ask any doctor. Pimples and skin oil have nothing to do with facial muscles and resulting mimic wrinkles. Especially oily skin often develops deep wrinkles - thick skin, strong muscles.
@@ythelldoineedahandle I spend approx. $15000-20000 a year on skin care and gadgets. I layer lots of products and I apply generous amounts so its possible spending much less. I use “medical grade” brands, but the best products only because medical grade is not always good. I understand formulations, actives, chemistry, skin, I read dermatology books and scientific research, I know all the latest technologies so I choose what is the most advanced science and the best formula for it at the moment. I do professional peels, microneedling at home, rf, professional strength powerful led panel, professional strength microcurrent, ultrasound, etc. And still botox is needed. With muscle relaxing topical peptides I manage to extend botox effect for up to 6 months, normally it wears off after 3 months. Injecting too often is not recommended and it is also expensive.
Maybe that is mostly true but again, I am your age and do not have a single wrinkle while having never had Botox or any other injectable. People do age differently and wrinkle at different ages largely due to their genetics. For the most part (even mentioned in this video) lighter skinned people and those with dry skin tend to wrinkle earlier than darker skinned and/or oily skinned people. I have oily skin and most ppl in my family have oily skin and I would say on average most of my family members look decades younger than they actually are. My grandmother died at 96 and u wouldn’t have swore she was a day over 70. So I don’t know whether the slow wrinkle development, oily skin, or both are genetic for me….but either way I do not even have any fine lines yet which I guess is the age these drs are recommending starting Botox. I am not anti Botox and do plan to start once I start seeing the first signs of aging lines. I’m just saying just because of your age and the fact u use botox - u don’t know if that’s why u don’t have wrinkles or if u wouldn’t have them at your current age even if u didn’t use botox.
great video and super informative! I just turned 30 in January so I been debating about when I wanna start getting Botox. Thanks for being honest about getting it done yourselves, cause most people would lie and say they don't get it done.
If you're debating whether you need it or not - don't. You'll look in the mirror and be sure when you need it. Being 30 means nothing, some need it at 28 and others at 38. (If they want it, of course)
That’s a very good question. I’m 32yrs old and I’ve been thinking about getting Botox but I always wonder about this or also I heard Salma Hayek give an interview and say she’s never gotten Botox because she believe when you paralyze some muscles yours others have to work harder to compensate and you get wrinkled faster. Obviously she’s not an expert but that just made me wonder💭
Droop. Yep. Causes atrophying so once you start you make things worse and basically have to continue to avoid the wrinkles. Not healthy or helpful long term
IP attorney here with a comment about branding -- while it may be good from the consumer recognition perspective to have people start referring to the realm of these injections as Botox, it actually negatively affects the trademark rights in the term "Botox" because it runs the risk of succumbing to "genericide" ... meaning the rights in the trademark can be lost! Interesting stuff.
I enjoyed the video, but this is one instance where I question your judgement. It is clear you are both very strongly in favour of botox, but this seems to have led to you to forget that it is a 'big deal'. Injecting anything into your body, let alone a poison to cause paralysis should not be taken lightly. To do it at 20 is so sad because it screams that the person is unhappy with themselves. I understand it is a very common procedure, but I feel this video is weighted very heavily towards botox and may even influence young people into having it. Enjoy your youth and use a good cream and sun screen. If you're worrying about lines in your 20's you need to get out and live a fuller life so that ageing is the last thing on your mind.
I agree !! If you are 20 and sitting there like oh no aging you should invest in life experiences that make your appreciate your youth, not procedures that reinforce the idea that aging is bad.
It’s human nature to think about aging though. You can’t shame people for getting procedures. Caring for your skin and appearance doesn’t make you insecure nor does it mean you’re missing out on life’s wonders. If Botox makes people happy then it’s worth it for them. Why judge?
I am 62 and got Botox for the first time this past April for static wrinkles in the 11’s. My mom had the same wrinkles. It worked like a charm and is still going strong. I use a drop of Argireline twice a day in the area and I also use the Collagen Capsule from Droplette daily (contains Argireline). Even before Botox the Droplette capsule had softened those lines.
Could you please include electrolysis, especially for women in menopause using HRT, for face & neck? Is it really the only permanent type of hair removal method ? Is it better to wait to do procedure after ending HRT ? I am caucasian, with light med skin tone; dark, white, & blond hairs to be removed.
I first bought the famous Kenzi device that claims it’s IPL which really never worked .. but now I am doing laser and the device they use is called Gentlo Pro.. after 14 my hair sheds and falls off.. I’ve really been liking it !!
Sorry if there is already a video about this but I would love a video helping to explain how to pick the right professional to give me Botox. What are the rights questions to ask or specific things to look out for (besides expiration date)?
I recently went for a Botox consult at my dermatologist office and I stated my concerns about possible anaphylaxis and his response is that is not a possible side effect as many of the foods we eat have then same proteins found in Botox. But after watching some RU-vid videos they all state that anaphylaxis is a known side effect. Interested in hearing your opinion on that topic. Thank you! 😊
Hey guys, awesome video again! I have been doing HIFU (high intensity focused ultrasound) procedures on my face and neck for over 4 years now and I have experienced mind blowing results for both firming, lifting and wrinkles reduction! Yes, it’s pricey, but totally worth it imo. Would love to hear your take on it soon. Thanks 💕
I had difficulty speaking when I had Botox and jeaveau done the same day. I hadn’t tried either before and haven’t since. That scared me. And I didn’t like my face feeling frozen.
You forgot to include the very serious potential side effects of botox... as as the effect on neurons, central nervous system and even the brain... and yes, botox does have potentially harmful side effects. For a long time it was thought that it doesn't, but more recent research shows otherwise.
I can’t imagine doing it at 21. Your face is so basically baby like. I’m 28 and definitely notice how my face drastically changed after 25. I get it on my 11 lines but haven’t over done it
Botox can atrophy the muscles, can cause skin thinning also some can get used to the product and new more over time. Filler migrates, does not always go away in 6 months, can stretch the skin
I started botox at 35. I'm 40 now, and go 2x per year (missed during covid). People always think I'm in my late 20s but I just look natural because I still have movement (refuse to be frozen!!). I have some wrinkles but they are not as prominent with botox. I'm so so so glad I waited. I look slightly aged but with great skin!!
My bil gets botox for his CP, neck and hands, also for spasticity. It's worked wonderfully for him! He's done it well over 15 years! I'm sorry it didn't work for your daughter. It provides such relief.
