I went to a Walmart a few days ago and got eggs for $3.02. I jumped on that price, but about a year ago they would have been about 97 cents.

When I worked for Walmart I learned that Sam Walton disliked very much prices that ended in .99 cents. That's why you see a lot of prices that end in .98 or .96. Just a little trivia for you. That and $10 will get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks, maybe.

Hello Danno and Jess, great news here in Germany - apparently coffee prices are supposed to go down significantly! Maybe you'll see that in the US too! As always thanks for the video and have a great Superbowl!

Good Afternoon Danno and Jessica from here in England I watch your channel with interest as it nice to see what you have in your supermarkets and the prices. I am an old age pensioner on a fixed income so prices are important here but as a post war baby I was brought up on cheap tasty food cooked from scratch and it is how I raised my children so we know how to make a little go a long way. I do think sometimes you don't appreciate maybe that the rising costs of power, utilities etc affect the farmers and producers as much as us the consumer so really it is all down to the people with money who push up prices to get more money and have no care for those of us below them in rich chain. Great to see Jessica there with you hope she is all better now and can do more videos with you and perhaps you could show us what your weekly shop looks like ??? Stay warm and healthy and keep doing a good work

I was at Walmart yesterday in Columbus Ohio. The cheap GV Mac & Cheese went up 7 cents a box. I know it's only . 50 cents, but that's a big jump in 2 weeks. g

Theory is that egg and other prices are dropping because of the cut-back in food stamps. I am thrilled, whatever the reason. Mind you, eggs are still about twice what they were last year. Jessica seems back to her bouncy self! So good to see!

Haven't shopped for groceries recently at my local walmart,Walmart, went to the outskirts of OK City yesterday at a store called,Crest. Omg,Danno. They were selling bone end hams that were sooo cheap. I got a nice bone in ham,the kind you have to bake in a large roasting pan,and I payed just a little under $5.00 for it. People were really catching on with that deal. They also had their Campbells chunky soups,no limit, for $1.85 a can. I bought around 10 to 11 cans. I haven't seen that that cheap for a long time!! Also got good deals on ground beef. Took my sis and I over 2 hours to get out of there,for it was so crowded,due to the Super Bowl game coming. Lol. Came home with some good buys. Have an awesome day Danno and Jessica. Gonna help my sis with big snack platters later on today as the men in my family are gearing up for the big games later on. God bless. $4.34 for an 18 count of eggs today from Walmart in central Ohio. $2 46 for a gallon of milk. $1.88 for Great Value 100% whole wheat bread. Did you know that Sara Lee makes their Great Value breads? True! And Pillsbury makes their frozen dough for their (bakery) breads & rolls that are baked on site very early every morning. The night shift pulls the various doughs and places them on bakery carts, covers them with a big plastic rack cover and takes them to the refrigerated walk-in to proof the dough for morning ☀️🥖🥐🍞

We've been buying steaks only when they're on sale while also restricting our red meat consumption. I've gotten T-Bone and NY strips at Winn-Dixie and Save-A-lot stores for $4.99 a lb. to freeze. We usually cut them in half, cutting around the bone (which our dog gets) because 4 to 5, maybe up to even 6 oz. each is more than enough by the time we add a starch and vegetable.

Good Morning Danno and Jess! Stopped at Dollar 25 Tree and bought those pizza crusts you don’t care for. We like them because they are just like flatbreads so I’m going to make them into snack size pizza bites. I’ll doctor them up with toppings I have hanging around the house! Trader Joe’s had one pound bags of peanut butter filled pretzels for $2.49 so I bought a few of those. Have a wonderful day with Jess and GO EAGLES!

Most/ many grocery storemeat chickens are Cornish Crosses which have been bred to eat a lot and grow fast. From chick to maturity it takes 6 to 9 weeks depending upon how big you want them to get. The big chicken culls took place in December and early January which means that more should be coming to market and the prices should be coming down.

Time to buy potatoes and sprout them for planting.

Since Apples are not in season until late summer, early fall, the further we get away from last years crop the less there is in cold storage, hence higher prices. While apples are grown all over the world, China is #1, followed by the US, Poland, Italy and France. Apples require a certain amount of cold and with the high temperatures apples are being effected. We have had a oddly mild winter here in Michigan. Today, Feb, Monday, 12, 2023 it's 50 degrees. It would not be uncommon for the temps to be in the teens or 20's this time of year. The weather is odd. Some snow, but we're seeing more grass than anything else. What's normal is us to get such huge snow falls, we see snow banks (where the snow was plowed) still melting in April. We are seeing almost none of that. It looks like late April.

Everyone look into changing your diet to a clean Keto diet you will save a ton of money, lose weight, get healthy and get of Rx drugs (which you will save more money each month). There are a ton of doctors who talk about the keto diet on yt. It's time we fight back against these insane prices by cutting out a ton of this unhealthy food in our shopping. Within a month on keto you will lose weight and feel sooooo much better. It's a very easy diet were after a week you literally have zero food cravings are not hungry. Keto diet has been around for 100+ years because it works. Wishing everyone all the best in these crazy times. Take care.

It's the only sugar-free one that is sweetened with monk fruit. No nasty artificial sweeteners with nasty side effects (for me, anyway)! It's worth the price, IMHO, for an occasional treat. Good to see the egg prices dropping! Yeah, everything is so high that even a small drop in price will seem like a "good" thing. Like you said, they do need to drop even more.

I purchased the little Rocket apples for my husband back when they were 5.98 at Walmart about a year ago. I ate one awe wasn't impressed.

I saw a picture of a $48.xx price for 60 count eggs sometime in January '23. I can't remember where. The last time eggs came down here, they seemed to just barely kiss $9.99 before skyrocketing up again.

Walmart brand peanuts jumped . 30 cents a container. No GV crunchy peanut butter. Jams & jellies rose 30-50 cents a jar too.

Crescent dogs we call pigs in a blanket. Another good one to try if you're interested in something new, is to split your hot dog, make some mashed potatoes and add diced green onion in the potatoes, add a spoonful on top of the split hot dog, then add cheddar cheese on top of that and bake until cheese is melted. 😋 ❤️🇺🇸

Walmart watermelons were running $5-something most of the watermelon season here. They did drop to $4-something for a bit over a week. I can't remember if the "something" was closer to the next dollar up, in the middle, or low. We understand that for a day to two, they were $3-something just under $4; then they went back up to $5-something which was closer to $6.

Hold the phone! 1 Box of Rice-a-Roni is now $4.19 where I live! That is a box which contains 225 gr. Which is just short of 1 cup. Yes it's true. Just got back from Grocery shopping. I need to listen to your broadcast later today because I've got some people coming over. HiYa Jess😊

Spent $194 at Kroger today instead of $286 using digital coupons and tried to only buy what was on sale. Still expensive. I realized I bought quite a few frozen pizza's which I normally would not buy, but they were on sale, so I guess "they got me".

We got the Rocket apples at Sprouts. Expensive ... very delicious.

Also Tide and Tide pods, all shaving supplies, all makeup, men's underwear, spray paint, batteries, and alcohol are locked up. Are any of your items locked up at your Walmart. I even had to flag down an associate for a 99 cent styptic pencil for my husband because it's a shaving supply. It's 99 cents Walmart. They walked it up to the cashier for me. Are you kidding me?. TVs are not locked up by the way. We must have a lot of thievery here in the wild west. Thank you for your video.
