Many parts of this music bring to mind immediately different scenes from the production. I smile to visualize it all. But other parts I don’t recall at all. I can’t place it in the mini-series. There is only one thing to do: go back and watch it again for the 135th time. Love the music, love the acting, love the production, the settings, the costumes, everything about this adaptation. Masterful!
I know exactly what you mean. There are so many different things about this series that come together to create something very special. It is hard to explain what they are but it has a vibe all of it's own and a realness to it. this explains the millions of obsessed fans that can't get enough - like us!
I can fall in love with the character an actor portrays. When the production is as good as this BBC version, you hate to see it end, will watch it again, and still want more. I may watch an interview with the actor and become a bit disenchanted. Jennifer Ehle is a delightful exception. She gave a reading of the book as her personal gift to all of us shut in from Covid. As she began to read, I looked for Elizabeth in Ehle's face and in her voice. As the chapters continued I became utterly charmed with Jennifer herself, as warm and comfortable as a long time friend or a sister.
@@marie-pierrepardigon3108 I had read the book when I was young and watched the 1940 version, but this series is wondeful. I never wanted to leave it. But then, I discovered a whole community of Austen-based novelists, and Jane Austen Fan Fiction, or JAFF, writers. Some stories are poorly done fanfic, others are well done and very entertaining. I think I have at least 300 of these books on my kindle. A lot are on Kindle Unlimited, so they are free if you have it. And there are fanfic sites, too. If you like reading, you never have to get out!
The Best Ever Version and adaptation made! 1995 - Beautifully and Perfectly done. Magnificent actors with their very high level of excellence in portraying all their roles individually and collaborating as group performance overall is superb! The soundtrack and costumes were masterly done and magnificent which bring us to the regency era enormously and undeniably the best and great experience and feelings while watching this masterpiece interpretation of the great Ms. Jane Austen literary masterpiece of all time.Loving it so much and watching repeatedly the whole series almost everyday! Well done to all and hope to find similar story in the near future!Magnificent and Superb Adaptation!! Thank You so much!!
It sure is. It's impossible to do the story justice within the limited timeframe of a film. This nailed it but if it had been 24 episodes i still would have watched it all....So would you have obviously!
Gorgeous music! I really like this movie, i think its one of my favs and the good thing is the music is really cool to listen to while doing homework!!!!
When iam in inter my english the pride and prejudice is the theory part that time is 1995 till now I love this movie how many times I see I dont remember this in my dream I feel every scene
Incredible soundtrack. I used to listen to this a lot on Spotify or Amazon Music a few years ago but now I can’t find it available to stream anywhere! Anyone know where I can find it to stream? I keep getting results for the dumb Kiera Knightly adaptation. It’s Carl Davis, Jennifer Ehle, and Colin Firth for me.
This is the score of the music specifically written for the 1995 production but it is not really the full musical soundtrack. The pianoforte performances of Mary, Elisabeth, Bingley’s sister and Georgiana are missing. In particular I miss the finger exercises and piece Mary played just before Darcy and Bingley came to visit after their return to Netherfield.
Darcy and the girl. The couple are the best, the sisters also can't prity girls., Music, de way dressing, parents, every body. This. Soup was UNIC, única .👍👍👍👍👋👋👋😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
So agree with all positive comments . Watched Emma last night or tried to but gave up, acting so disappointing even with volume up could not get through the mumbling , vast expense on costumes and sets did not make up. This production can not be surpassed.
*HELP NEEDED* _In the 1995 version, does anyone know the name of the musical selection Elizabeth was playing at Rosings as Colonel Fitzwilliam sat with her? I know it, I’ve heard it played before, but I just can’t remember the name of the music or where I heard it before_
*PLEASE HELP* _At __15:10__, Elizabeth was attempting to play this song at Rosings and it's played at other moments in the 1995 version at it's regular tempo. Does someone, anyone know the name of this song? I can't find the Title anywhere. Now it's become a "ringing in my ear" and I can't clear it out of my mind_
It’s such a lovely piece. It reminds me of the music “Thinking of Lizzy” but it’s slightly different to that too. If I do find it (maybe) 😅 I’ll let you know~
It's Beethoven's Andante Favori, according to a website I found. I miss the dance music from Netherfield when Lizzie & Darcy dance (& bicker!) together.
@@kathleencraine7335 Thank you so much❣️ It took me about two years to create a Playlist of ALL my favorite Classical Songs ~ about 35 Selections and RU-vid decided to Delete it. I will write each Title and Talent down this time☺️ I've remembered 10 so far, I'll keep on and who knows, maybe I will add a few Hausers "covers" to My Playlist. Thanks Again.
The music is so Evocative, that the entire story is able to Joyfully enter the mind, Before it even has begun! 🎶♥️🎶🎶♥️♥️🎶🎶🎶♥️♥️♥️🎶♥️♥️♥️🎶🎶🎶♥️♥️♥️🎶🎶🎶♥️♥️🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶♥️♥️🎶🎶🎶♥️
