Priefert’s number one selling squeeze chute of all time, the S04 has everything to help make cattle working safer, quicker, and easier than ever before.
A trained Pet Cow wonderful.. We do own two Priefert's full size and they work well..The first chute is now been in service for 30 years. Would not have anything else! Highly recommend them.!
This video is great for getting to know the SO4 Priefert chute. You would not buy a car without a test drive. This amounts to a squeeze chute test drive. Good job Jeff.
Wow! Loved the video. I bought a priefert chute 18 years ago and it doesn’t have all of these features. I better sell my old one and up grade to this one!
Wow. Thanks. I didn't know there were that many features on it. Awesome. We have one, i did not have any clue how to operate it. Now i can try it out next round up.
This is THE most important piece of equipment on a cattle ranch/farm; Including the corral panels and sweep, that is. It may not be as 'Sexy' as the 'Big Green Tractor', but it makes everything happen. It is the 'connection' between the animal and the human being, without which there can be no control over ANYTHING. Buy the cheap tractor, if you must, but buy a good handling system. I own and have used a Powder River system for years, and just picked up this system and can already tell without running a single animal through it that the Priefert System is FAR superior, as it addresses every one of my issues with the Powder River system.
I have an S01. Great chute for our needs. Recently started having issues with squeeze section not staying locked. Anything you recommend me doing to the lock mechanism? Has always worked fine, just that squeeze has opened up on us several times. Would appreciate any suggestions.
the lower panel that drops down. The inside surface of the panel becomes an area we might need to step on to tend to the animal. It could easliy become slick from pooh and urine. Can that surface be covered with spray on truck bed liner? ( rhino liner) it would have texture and be easy to clean
I have the same exact chute. I ran one steer through it today and when I went to run the second one the back door wouldn't open back up, is there a lock?
@@xade7863 Anyone who has used this chute regularly has had a cow with a leg hanging out the side. It causes a train wreck. Impossible event with the Arrow chutes.
@@roberteades4152 I have been using mine for a couple days on 400-700lb calves that are half crazy if you set your squeeze in tight enough and don’t squeeze the cow till they calm down and ain’t jumping and make sure leg is back from the little opening it won’t cause no issues
