Great video, though personally I disagree with what you said about Cerato. Once you get used to it, it's a force to reckon with. Thanks to the tail whack being able to crit, you can kill people ridiculously fast with it. Also about the dead zone, you can bite the moment you take finger off the shift key, so that really isn't a problem. One thing I do agree with you on it is how unreliable the tail whack can be. I have died countless times because the tail would literally swing through the person and wouldn't count it as hit. Even with that downside, I'd say it's a pretty good class, just not a lot of people know how to play it well. You have to be able to get around it's lack of mobility, using techniques like crouching to turn faster and predicting where the target will be when you reach them rather than running right at them.
Yeah that's totally fair, seen a couple people comment that they only play the Cerato, I definitely judged it pretty harshly cause I have never liked the way it's played, I could be missing something for sure, I guess my playstyle just fits better with the Carno, but I'm glad people like it, cause the design and skins are top notch
I'm convinced that cerato is quite good but you can't use it like a Carno. Cerato is not viable when charging for the exact reason that you outlined (speed) but it shines when fighting a small group, if you can get in the fast enough without being seen you can tail whip them all at once to get them low then finish them off with the bite and get 2 or 3 kills super fast. It also helps that cera's bite and tail whip have very forgiving hit boxes thanks to the nature of any tail whip and the use if its arms in the bite. Cerato is also a perfect sidekick for any tyrant as when humans hide in small buildings or arches the cera can charge in and force the whole group into the open with that tail and they imidiatly become easy pickings for all other classes (especially tyrants)
Well said, mostly agree, although it's next to impossible to sneak in and get those bites as Cerato without being seen and losing a quarter or more of your health before you even get a chance to damage someone, and the stamina is still garbage. That being said, if you don't get netted, it can be a monster in tight spaces, easily the best at crowd control along with the Cryo, and I have been having more fun playing it since the hit detection got fixed and the tail whip got buffed
The cerato is one of my favorite to play actually but u are right it’s tailwhip hit box sucks and when u get netted u really have no option to run away so u have fight and hope u hit humans with your tail
Yeah it's certainly a problem for most dinos, against experienced players there really is no solution, it just takes practice, timing bites as Tyrant and Cerato correctly, not getting into 1v1's as Carno, etc. It still happens to me when I play any dino with the exception of the raptors
How come there's only the carno on console, also, why does the head bang attack work different on console Actually, why is the whole game so different?
Ok im not sure why i got primal carnage recommendation but goddamn this game has changed alot since i last watched it they even have classes of dinosaur that aren’t just skins that awesome
@@thelastmikester yeah the main guy i remember watching was the gamingbeavers gameplay the other 2 from my child hood was dino d day and orion dino beatdown
I know I’m late but I hope someone can answer this question. I play this game on PS4, and I only have the carno. That’s the only bruiser I have. Do I need to unlock the other two? Buy them? Please help.
No worries mate, the Playstation edition is behind by I believe about 2 years worth of updates, however that's what they are working on pretty much exclusively right now, so everything that is currently on PC, including the two new Bruisers will be available to you on PS4 when the update launches, which I believe will be at the end of October
Really depends on time of day, I find Absentia to be the most active server, usually from noon to 8 or 9 at night, but sometimes the game can be dead if it's a weekday evening. Absentia is also the sever with the biggest player count cap at 32. Hope this helps
Well what I like about it is that it has a tail attack (that does around 60 damage i'm pretty sure) so you're protected from head to tail, and it's running animation because something about it looks so goofy but menacing at the same time
