Primal Rage Action Figures | From Pixels to Plastic 

Man I miss those Primal Rage Toys in my childhood. ;)

i have a complete set of these and the gi joe Mortal Kombat figures. MY two favorite sets in my collection.

The character Vertigo also had a toy in the six inch line.

What happened to Vertigo? Lol I had Vertigo as a kid, I also had Diablo, Talon and Armadon, cus they were my favorites. All Vertigo did though was spit water that you would fill it with by submerging the figure completely in water until it bubbled. It would have been nice had they included maybe a blade on Vertigo's tail as an accessory, but oh well. U also forgot to mention that a couple characters like Necrosan and Slashfang actually got made into figures, even though Primal Rage 2 was never officially released. I know that these two figures existed, because I saw Slashfang as a kid at my local toy store, I have never seen Necrosan, but there are pictures of him online. :p

I still have my Talon and Armadon figures, complete and with the boxes.

Were there any action figures of Virtua Fighter, Killer Instinct, Soul Caliber or other fighter video games?

Still have my Vertigo figure; need to dig it out sometime.

I believe I also saw the Sauron and maybe the Talon figure too at a friends house when I was a kid.

I actually just bought The 10 inch Chaos and the 10 Inch Yeti from the Ninja turtles loose on ebay. I wish they would resurrect this franchise, it still has great potential. I am sure a new primal rage game with new graphics would be mind blowing, and I am sure new generations of gamers who have not heard of this would totally come to appreciate as we have

Interesting. They started as stop-motion figures, which then were put into the game.

I’ve been following this channel for a while now and just happened to dig deep for this video. I would kill for a modern update to this line. The game series has basically been lost to time, but why not try to get some cool looking, fun modern action figures released and make something out of this license again? I’d love to have a modern rendition of Blizzard and Chaos.

Me too, but it's quite rare (no pun intended) for British licenses to get merchandise for some reason. I think it's just Tomb Raider that really got it.

I had blizzard and suron I think I had chaos too. I loved blizzard so much I took him every where I went. I miss that toy.

It interesting that they came out in 2006 though. Were playmates caught up in a license with the never released sequel to Primal Rage?

Pixel Dan when you talk to Randy for the upcoming Comic Con. Can you ask him if these Primal Rage figure could be a possibility for a NECA wave. And if Godzilla figure could come back down line? I think Primal Rage could fill the void for the loss of Godzilla perfectly.

Armadon and Vertigo got the short end of the stick with the toys. Neither got the 10 inch figure and both were almost impossible to find before eBay was a thing. I still have all 7 original 6 inch figures with their packaging and accessories. Also have all 5 of the 10 inch ones as well as unpacked slashfang and necrosan 6 inch

I had Sauron, Diablo, Armadon, and Vertigo. I left Sauron and Diablo at my Grandma's house for the younger kids in my family to play with after I became a teenager. Now all these years later I have no idea where any of them are, and I feel like a chump. At least I could get a good version of the game itself on Midway Arcade Treasures 2.

I had talon, sauron, diablo, a green armadon I believe and a vertigo and a sabertooth character... when I was about 6 or 7 loved these guys, always wanted blizzard

Good job representing Primal Rage, however this video is incomplete because you left out Vertigo, Slashfang, and Necrosan. So, you FAIL. Bring back the RAGE!!!!!

I actually had all of these along with the board game Primal Rage: Battle for Urth, and the book Primal Rage: The Avators which was a book adaption of Primal Rage 2's plot.

I still remember the christmas when I got the game along with vertigo and armadon. Those were good times. Vertigo even squirted water at you :D

It should be noted that there were two more Primal Rage Figures that got released on the hight hopes of the sequel that Midway was trying to release. One of them was the Final Boss Necrosan. and the Other was another playable character in the form of a Sabertooth Tiger: who's name escapes me right now. Funny enough, Primal Rage 2 was actually a complete game, just never released because of how it took a big departure from the first by adding Human Demi-gods that Morphed into the Monsters!
