I always come back to this tune when I need it. This version should have been on 'Screamadelica'. Stunning and one of my favourite tracks of all time (and my youth).
I consider this part of a one two punch…Loaded / Come Together. Andrew Weatherall guided the Primals into a new expansive psychedelic light and they ran with it. Truly the sound of my freshman year in college and beyond. This blissful classic is simply a timeless masterpiece that fused what was with what will be.
Denise Johnson What a voice absolutely fabulous. Her voice shines on 😉👍❤.Id say she got great offers from bands with that vouce of hers.Bands today are not as good as bands like this band and others of that time. Its all just sounds without words .( GOBBLE GOBBLE) 😖😫😯😣😱🙉
@@cordial Totally disagree. The 90's were superb for electronic music like Massive Attack, Underworld, Leftfield, Orbital - Primal Scream with Screamadelica and Vanishing Point. I could go on. Guitar music had some good bands and albums too. 80's had some good stuff like New Order, but also a lot of it was cheesy crap.
I've heard it said that if you hug someone and don't let go after a little while the heartbeats of both persons hugging will sync up with each other and they will beat as one. I really love that and hope it's true. If we all came together on this planet and hugged and synced our heartbeats there would just be love. Hate would be an awful memory. A group heart, group mind, group soul. We experience a delicious taste of that with Primal Scream's wonderful song.😊
The first time I heard screamadelica, a looooooooooong time ago, I downloaded from either Ares or thepiratebay. And the Come Together version it had was an extended, near 9 min version of THIS version. I never found it again. I bought it later on and it had the 10 min album version, Andy Weatherall, which im not very fond of. And then we have this short 4 min version. But that long 9 min version of this version, with verses and choruses and everything...I couldnt find it again. And I miss it.
This one is absolutely the best! I had he best ti.we ever with these guys! The two girls in this recording are one of my longest friends, they are his nieces, my friends brothers children
Three things: - It's the Terry Farley 7" mix. Available on the 20th anniversary edition of Screamadelica. - I always liked Bobby Gillespie's t-shirt in this video. Still do. - I always had a big crush on the dancing blonde girl. Still have.
i cant remember who made the wild stuff ! the logo was the word ' wild ' in white then a red star ! try jasper conran , nick coleman and john richmond..they were main men ill go look as well
Come together oh oh Come together oh oh Come together oh oh Come together Kiss me, won't you won't you kiss me Won't you won't you kiss me Lift me right out of this world Trip me, won't you won't you trip me Won't you won't you trip me Lift me ride me to the stars I'm free you're free I'm free I want you to touch me Come touch me Now it's all too much All too much All too much Kiss me, won't you won't you kiss me Won't you won't you kiss me Lift me right out of this world Trip me, won't you won't you trip me Won't you won't you trip me Lift me ride me to the stars I'm free you're free I'm free I want you to touch me Come touch me Now it's all too much All too much All too much Come together oh oh Come together oh oh Come together as one Come together as one Up and away Come together oh yeah Up and away
Lembro quando comprei o vinil duplo e a decepção de perceber que esta versão não estava no disco :( Mas a verdade é que Screamadelica é um grande disco, ainda hj em dia.
I completely disagree. This is a good song, the album one is better. They're completely different songs though really, they should be titled "1" and "2" lol.
You are entitled to your opinion and I'd never disagree as when you get that wee bit older/wiser? It doesn't thats others choices are crap just different...but got to completely disagree with you friend! Screamadelica full version is the one for me. Ps I take a wee bit back about what I said before about tastes...today's is utterly devoid of class, inspiration and the ability to be unique. Today tunes won't be remembered in the bear future....side note 'Don't fight it...Feel it' for me personally is my fave Screamadelica track along with 'Come Together (album)'
@@iaindouglasmcwilliam8684 that’s fair play mate, but this is definitely my favourite version, as for screamadelica oh man lol where to start, I’d have to say higher than the sun for me 👍
I was looking for this version for ages and its been on here for over a year all the time. Reminds me of a surfer holiday i had with friends in south coast UK and they played this version a lot altho i do love the UK version a lot.
The stoic Henry Olsen looking like he's just stepped out of the Jimi Hendrix Experience here. Just how good they were at this point is reflected by how this wonderful version has languished in relative obscurity for 25 years, despite being a UK hit single - and they're still cutting great records in their current form.
Denise Johnson RIP The backing voice of soul music and dance floor was taken from our world. The spirit of her will carry on in the room called heaven. The party people and Tony Wilson, Ian Curtis, Rob Gretton ( RIP) , in a lonely place and dreams never end. 🕯😢🙏🕊🎵🥁😪
back in the 90's i had this version - still do- on a white label 12" vinyl. was this version ever released as a single? I thought my copy was really rare at the time, now seeing this i'm not so sure both versions are great, but this is better
kris wilkinson Yeah this is the original single version - released in August 1990. It reached about 15 in the UK charts. Screamadelica wasn't released until September '91, and they included the remixed version on the album instead of this.
