i was in Prison when I saw this blistering performance tv turned up full blast my co-pilot & i were going mental pogoing around the Peter great memories & a fantastic Scream Team Line Up great period for the Band they could do no wrong! absolute classic tune that cannot fail to get a Crowd going bananas✌️🏴🙏
Ive got to say the best gig i was ever at was Primal Scream @the Barrowlands with The Jesus and Mary Chain as support. I swear my ears havnt healed yet!
Throbert mysteriously vanishing around 2006 signalled the end of it and no disrespect to the other 3 but without him mani and shields its as if the stage has been empty since
I saw them live in 2006 and I'm seeing them in Newcastle next month. If they play "Higher than the Sun" that would be a life defining experience! Exterminator as well? Wow the setlists have certainly improved since Riot City Blues.
I watched The Football Factory and if weren't for my recent interest in soccer(football) English hooliganism, and movies concerning the subjuect, I would have never known about this band. Very good tunes.
This song is great. I saw them 2 weeks ago and they were fucking incredible! And this song performed live really blows the back of your fuckin' head off! xD
The London Rags have controlled the music scene for 50 years...but they'll never stop class coming through...the most original bands have all come from other City's...and before you Cockney's start banging on about The Pistols...They where just raw Rock and Roll
You do realise that Primal Scream predate Kasbian by a good 15 years and that Swastika Eyes was released 4 years before Kasabian released their first album?
Fucking wall of sound and energy, as an old punk I really relate to what the Scream achieved here, love this live version and the album it came from and vastly under rated "Evil Heat" album, two of my favourites by this great band.
Carl Grimes isn't dead. He's changed his name to Bobby Gillespie and formed Primal Scream. What a great song. I remember hearing this on the "Football Factory" soundtrack. It really gave the scene a lot of energy.
I'm Polish and I live in Poland :p The aren't very popural here, a lot of people came there only for Klaxons and left after their show :/ A day before Pepsi Bobby was walking down the street and no one recognized him...They played:CANT GO BACK, DOLLS, MISS LUCIFER, SUICIDE SALLY, jAILBIRD, BEAUTIFUL FEATURE, DEEP HIT, BEAUTIFUL SUMMER, SUICIDE BOMB, SICK CITY, SHOOT SPEED, SWASTICA EYES, MOVIN ON UP, ROCKS encore UPTOWN, COUNTRY GIRL, ACCELERATOR
who's to say how a front man should move? he wrote the song, he should be aloud to do whatever he damn well please. and sonically this sounds wonderful. so how bout we focus on what's important, the music, and forget about what's not, the movement of the lead singer (which doesn't have anything to do with the album version even)
