Thank you - my interest is back. Looking at for Solo only. Did you find this a brain burner. How would you rate the complexity?

Whilst not a Brain Burner as such it certainly requires you to try to optimise the cards. I will be playing it exclusively solo and I think it’s an amazing solo experience. In terms of complexity it’s relatively light - in terms of tactical gameplay it’s very, very expansive.

I'm already all-in for this KS, but I absolutely love seeing all the videos showcasing the prototype play for the game, it's making me excited for when it eventually does land in my hands. Really hoping to be alright having friends over finally to join n in for this! When playing solo, you can only advance through the story encounters generally, is that correct? If I wanted to go back and explore battling the other monsters with teammates such as the ones we didn't go after the first time around will we be able to do that, and craft gear out of their materials? Or will we have to do a whole new game?

Really like the one shot with additional campaign w crafting when wanted. Loved the big boss fights with Dark Souls but not so much the rest of the game. This looks to implement that much better. Will definitely be in on the KS after this preview.

Does look like Kingdom Death Monster with cards ...... price will be key on this one

Sure, there are some similarities .... but ...and I say this as a person who owns KD: M (and it’s my #1 game), this has more than enough going for it to own both. The positional play is fantastic, coupled with card pay that’s more like Marvel Champions than anything else, means that it’s quite a different experience. Hiving the ability to do one shot scenarios is also a big thing.

@@NotBoredGaming Thanks :) I have KDM as well, and with Stormsunder and Aeons Trespass also coming my way I'm a little unsure. That being said it does look like fun. With the new VAT rules (I'm a brit as well) now in place I'm a lot less inclined to punt at things :) I might here if its reasonable in cost!
