00:00 Raszageth (Primalist 4) 06:23 Vault of the Incarnates general theme? (Primalist 3) 11:30 Vault of the Incarnates boss fight (Primalist 2) 17:20 Open world primalist areas, including prepatch assaults (Primalist 1) - Heard this first during the prepatch, when I fell in love with the primalist music.
I am very excited for this expansion, and this music seems very original (kindof), or at least something that we havent heard in a while. Looking forward to the Dragon Isles and the rest of your music vids!
I really like these tracks, love the strings and percussion in a lot of them and just the overall action feel. Even noticed something if it isn't my brain just making it up, but it sounds like they are chanting "Raszageth! Storm!" at 18:22 - 18:26, which i thought was pretty cool, since i'm pretty sure Raszageth is their leader and her title is the Storm-Eater. Also, i'm pretty sure the "Primalist Battle H" track is actually not Primalist related, but Tuskarr related, as weird as it may sound. It's an epic version of the Tuskarr 2 H track, and it's included in one Soundkit with the Tuskarr 2 H, A and B tracks. No clue what it is for though, but something to do with the Tuskarr nonetheless. But it does sound like Primalist music as well.. Also, it's the only track here by David, and he did the Tuskarr music as well.
Ah I see, thanks for letting me know! My next best guess is that it probably plays in the Brackenhide Hollow dungeon then since there’s a ton of Tuskarr there and maybe some kind of boss or event triggers it.
lol it does sound like Raszageth storm when you listen for at (another famous example is wrong lyrics for Orf’s O fortuna) but after closer listening I’m pretty sure its just some made up language
It's the same music that plays during the cutscene with Alexstrasza and the mother oathstone. You can find it at the start of this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JU24rc8PAns.html
I know the intro theme that plays when you first fly over to Raszageth's boss room. It's this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JU24rc8PAns.html
That's because H is the main version of a theme that tends to be the longest and has the most instrument layers and music phrases in it. Then the A, B, C, etc. tracks are variations of that main track that have only a couple instrument layers active or have different mixing, but are still a part of the same theme. But they weren't always called H, A, B, C, etc. They were originally called Hero tracks and then they would have 01, 02, 03, etc. variations instead. Towards the end of Cataclysm, they started using this letter system of H, A, B, C, etc. So in a way, you could say "H" is short for "Hero". The advantage of doing things this way is that you can create a lot more music for the game using the same composition. Most themes are recorded with different instruments at a time (strings all at once, then brass all at once, then choir all at once, etc.) so you can create a decent amount of variation by having different instrument layer combinations.
