So the reason why you see people turn into monsters or reverted back in this video is because it's something to do with the theme that Kamen Rider has since the beginning, Cross of Fire. All the power of Kamen Riders originally comes from the same source as the monsters. However, what the Kamen Riders would with this power depend on them which is why you see some Riders used it for good while some used it for evil and some just used it for personal gain. That's what makes the Rider conflicted against other Rider so good which is unlike Super Sentai. Now, to explain further. The monsters in Build aka Rabbit and Tank Rider are called Smash which is created through a torture experiment by injecting a gas called Nebula Gas into a human whose Hazard Level is 2.0 or higher and turned into Smash. The Hazard Level is the term to measure how much a human can resist the Nebula Gas. Those who have higher than 2.0 can remain human and not turning to Smash, and allow those individuals to perform feats that would normally require a prerequisite Hazard Level. Kamen Rider Build, Kiryu Sento was previously injected Nebula Gas on him but his Hazard Level is higher than most human, so he didn't turn into Smash and becomes Kamen Rider Build.

Yes, Decade has an alternate universe story for each rider, that's why the actors who played the previous riders are different too. but for Zi-O they are in the same universe, but the story is about TimeTravel. But for Super Sentai they have a crossover movie and there will be a new crossover movie later "SuperHeroSenki" will appear this year.
Just to add on, some of the later seasons are in their own world. And Zi-O, if I remember correctly, while it deals with time travel, it’s in its own world, so it doesn’t effect the other rider timelines. Maybe I’m wrong because trying to understand Zi-O was a task
It’s kind of hard to explain Zi-O. Zi-O works with time travel but also with the multiverse, each universe is a world with a rider(the original riders) and when a another rider is made that world is forcefully fused wirh Zi-O’s but this fusion only becomes permanent once Zi-O takes the ridewatch of the rider of that world. They explained this in the last episodes
Decade and Zi-O are “anniversary seasons” so they celebrate the shows that have come before them. And in 10 years we’ll probably be getting a show where the rider has all the powers of the riders from 2000-2030. It’s kind of like a tradition. Also yeah to you it might seem unoriginal and lame for them to be using abilities of other riders but in the context of the shows it’s mostly fan service so fans don’t really care. Anyway I like how you gives your thoughts often in the video though cause it’s kind of a bore when people just watch these videos and go “wow…cool…crazy…”. Nice videos dude keep it up 👍
emperor form is the only final form that appeared early because the chains on the base suit were real chains and the weight distribution is so fucked almost messed up the suit actor's body
For Kiva Emperor: We never actually got to see the attack that used Tatsulot and the Basshaa Magnum. I think the general consensus is, since Tatsulot attaches to the end of the gun barrel, the attack would shoot out boiling water. For Decade Complete: Decade treats it as each Rider being in a separate parallel world. The clip where a Sentai Red was present was during the crossover with Shinkenger (A world without Kamen Riders). Decade Complete calls upon the powers of previous Riders. His final form fights by summoning copies of their final forms that mimic his movements. He then hits them with two of that Rider's finisher attacks.
Kamen Rider shows all take place in the same universe as each other unless specified otherwise. And they all also take place in the same year they were filmed, so they're all consistent timeline-wise.

-In terms of continuity, Toei really goes back and forth on the lore. Heisei and Reiwa era Kamen Riders are typically stand alone unless specified and even that isn't 100% enforced. It's best to see crossovers as it's own thing. On the other side, Showa Era Kamen Rider seasons have a stronger continuity because they all share similar backstories. Also, a previous Showa rider (or riders) typically have a hand in creating a new rider. -Some seasons will have crossovers whether it's a episode, a web series, or a movie. However the seasons, Decade (2009) and Zi-O (2018-2019) are anniversary seasons thus multiple previous riders and/or characters make appearances. Decade is somewhat a unique anniversary series since the protagonist doesn't go to the worlds of the previous riders but rather alternate versions of those worlds. Zi-O's continuity sticks with the regular lore of the previous riders. - One more thing, power scaling for Kamen Rider is one rabbit hole you REALLY don't wanna jump in. Theoretically each rider's stats should help decide which is stronger but it's just as wobbly as its continuity lol.

Like kamen rider agito teasing us about their universe is the same universe from kuuga, because in the series they mention that kamen rider g3 design is based on kamen rider kuuga (unidentified lifeform no.4) that fighting grongi (unidentified lifeform). Another one is kamen rider W, OOO, and Fourze because 1 organization that supports the villain in their series. Well in OOO not the villain, but still connected

Super Sentai and Kamen Rider are the most sister series you could ever have among the most known Tokusatsu franchises. They have the same original creator, are made by the same studio, and air together on the same time and channel since 2000 (start of the Heisei Era). Also Kamen Rider used to be separate universes, but Shirakura, tries since 2009 and Kamen Rider Decade to fuse all of Kamen Rider, Super Sentai and Metal Heroes in a Toei Mulitverse.
To be honest, the coexistence of kamen rider its kinda weird, Kuuga and Agito its confirmed to be in the same world, from then every rider lives in his own world, until decade that merges all the universes (but in his case this are alternate universes), new riders usually make a cameo around the last episodes or in the movie of the rider at that moment, one of the most "recent" movie placed a few riders in one universe and the rest in a second one, BUT then ZI-O kinda showed its was all one big shared timeline(but still pointed that was still strange because of a lot of things that happened in previous series didnt have relevance in the present of that world) so in short, its a complete but wonderful mess
With Zi-o we could say a Meta timeline in a way, since we don’t really see any of the hallmarks from other Rider’s times in his base timeline, or at least I don’t think any have been shown.
They fucked it up when they introduced Decade. Keep decade as just a separate entity. A world traveler. Instead of the link that unites the realms. It help to think as the kamen riders as a multiverse the way Marvel does it
So rabbit guy ( Kamen Rider Build) obtains his powers through a cosmic substance known as Nebula Gas. It plays a huge role in the story and I HIGHLY recommend that you watch the series for yourself. As humans are exposed to nebula gas, they obtain a hazard level depending on how much gas they were exposed to. The more gas you are exposed to, the higher your hazard level and the stronger you become. Most of the monsters, called smashes in the show, are humans that were exposed to the nebula gas and have a hazard level of 1. Usually the smashes go berserk after transforming and destroy everything in sight. The black smashes have been exposed to some much nebula gas they have a hazard level of 4 and can only be defeated by something of equal power. If they are ever defeated in battle, the hazard level is so high that it will disintegrate the person’s body and kill them. Build’s Genius Form combines the 60 fullbottles of Nebula Gas essences that he collected in the show into one suit which also has the ability to purify the essence of a black smash and safely free the person from the nebula gas’s effects. The suit itself is also has the ability to run diagnostics in his helmet and help him find the surest route to victory.
Kamen Riders don't have a "power source" like the morphing grid for Power Rangers, but they are all cosmically linked as seen with Decade and Zi-O, whose powers are both reliant on previous Kamen Riders
Showa Rider powers are based on experiments. Kuuga on its mystical powers. Agito on quite the same as Kuuga though not being the same powers. Ryuki on a human crafted Mirror World tech. Faiz on Smart Brain tech. Blade on sealed Undead powers. Hibiki on the training to became an Ongeki Oni. Kabuto on the Zecter tech. Den-O on the DenLiner and the Imagin. Kiva on his Fangire blood. Decade on the 9 previous Heisei Riders, and later on the 10 latter Heisei Riders, and even Zero-One (a Reiwa Rider). Heisei Phase 2 and Reiwa Riders are based on their own gimmicks (Gaia Memory, O Medal, Astroswitch, Wizard Ring, Lockseed, Shift Car, Eyecon, Gashat, Fullbottle, Legend Ridewatch, Progrise Key, Wonder Ride Book).
Honestly yeah for the most part once a rider gets their final form it more or less becomes their go to form, or at least the form they change into after getting into their primary form. That said usually around each seasons finale episodes they usually wind up being forced to use their base forms as bit of a full circle journey with a few exceptions

Kamen Riders may share their universe. But in case of Decade, Build, and Zi-O, they are parallel worlds. Decade is the traveler of parallel worlds, and qlso destroyer of world. Zi-O is the king of all Heisei Riders, and also have power to unite and destroy the worlds.
Power level is kinda weird with Kamen Rider as a lot of the time they barely scratch the surface of what they could actually do. Ultimate Kuuga for example could destroy the planet if he wanted to. But the strongest are Decade and Zi-O as they both have every Rider's powers including each other's (literally an unstoppable force meets an immovable object). As for timeline, some are connected while others are their own thing. In Decade and Zi-O there are alternate universes and timelines to explain why there are inconsistencies when it comes to stories or events playing out differently. Build's story literally creates an alternate universe at a certain point.
I've been really enjoying your reactions and thoughts to kamen rider. I also somewhat agree with your thoughts on decades and zi-os finally forms being kinda basic since they essentially just recycle/use other kamen riders powers in addition to their own. But I usually let it slide since their anniversary seasons celebrating the 10th and 20th anniversary of the show. I do agree with your thoughts on kamen rider gaims final form (the fruit one) just reusing other riders weapons is kinda dull. Really wish they gave it a wholly new weapon for that form. but hes super broken already without being a kamen rider so i guess balance lol? but thats spoilers if you ever watch it.

i woulndt say decade is number 2 at all. Decade only has access to their primary riders standard form and their abilities. the only time he can use their final forms is by going into his final form and summoning the riders in their final forms. What alot of people dont notice is that decade is able to summon primary riders in their final forms but he doesnt have access to their super forms. Since super forms and final forms are seperate respectively. This is demonstrated when Zi Oh used Build sparkling armor against Decades Standard Build form. Which is why he reverted back to his Decade form
@@ripp3rjak934 Yes and no. In cannon, decade might be the second strongest after Zi-O. You have to remember that Zi-O was using decade armour while fighting decade. The watch contains half of his power(confirm in later ep of Zi-O). Meaning he was fighting Zi-O who was using half of his original power to use built sparkling and still body him by just using base built power. However, if you count forms like damashi, mighty creator VRX,13 and mighty novel x(the most broken thing ever) you might make a case. He will still probably end up in the top 5 tho that how strong he really is.

To answer you question, I think Wizard is strong and could hold his own but I think other Riders like Gaim, Zi-O and Ex-aid are on the same level or stronger the Wizard final form (At least to my knowledge) Since at the end of Gaim. Gaim became somewhat of a god level kamen rider or the Man of Beginning what they call him in show, Ex-Aid has Hyper Muteki who I see so far he was only push back in a fight and rarely/can't take any damage and what I remember from the show no one defeated Ex-Aid in that form and Zi-O can use past rider and go back into time. So, I say Wizard is strong but there are other riders stronger then him

the reason decade (22:16) and Zi-0 (51:35) have so epic suits with previous kamen rider in it is because they are anniversary seasons not because it was the end of the series LOL decade as its name says the 10th and Zi-O the 20th (of the hesei period not the overall series)

it's hard to power scale the riders but for the first generation heisei to me the strongets are hyper kabuto (that mofo that time travel and it's so fast it makes the other riders who also move at super speed go in slow motion) and of course decade cuz he can use every rider's power. for second gem heise (after decade) wizards seems up there ot me, very versatile, fourze is also strong but gaim is a fucking god. alongside zi-O they must be the strongets. for reiwa era, we have 2 riders so far.
