Out of all the apple homekey board looks. Which one would you recommend right now that is a full replacement lock. Not retrofit. Looking for black and fast. Does not have to have a key as my old one doesn’t now. I have they google nest x Yale now and works great. Just want homekey.

I saw you had VOCOlinc A19 lights on the list, I would not recommend these. They are the only ones that dies in under a year on me, customer service didn’t respond at all. I opened one and the capacitors were blown out on it. The Meross/Refoss and defiantly the AiDot lights have been great. But I have only ran 42 AiDot lights for only 6 months so time will tell. Meross is well tested over a year with me.

Yale offers WiFi and Z-Wave smart locks. If you choose a Z-Wave version, you'll need a Z-Wave coordinator to control the lock remotely. I have two Yale locks - one WiFi, and one Z-Wave - and use them both with Apple Home via Home Assistant and HomeKit Bridge.

I’ve been looking through your videos to see if you have a video for ceiling fans with lights and how to incorporate a non home kit fan, light combo into HomeKit. I was able to do one that I have, not sure how but it took to wall controllers, which I don’t use . I just use my app.

I have to learn if I can put my expensive LOREX cameras in to HomeKit via home bridge or home assistant. I am not there right now but I am trying to learn as a novice on how to make this work. Grabbed the Aqara Doorbell G4, but it’s my first Aqara item. Does anyone know if I’ll also require a hub to use it with HomeKit, as I don’t have one yet. Amazon’s ai bot Rufus says I don’t, but I still have a healthy mistrust of ai. (Not in the ai is going to destroy us all sense, more the Rufus is probably an idiot sense)
