Torres in his prime was the best of the three. The issue though is that drop off from him that started in his final year at Liverpool and continued throughout is run at Chelsea.

Torres was there only behind Messi and Ronaldo for the balon dor, Won it all with his teams, captained Atletico Madrid, his boyhood club, at 19. It saddens me how he dropped off from his peak but he sacrificed his health and career like that to win the World Cup with his country, his childhood dream. He was one of the the most electrifying players I’ve ever watched. It was Torres that made me truly fall in love with football. I went to an Atletico game in 2019 and speaking to the fans about him they truly talked about him like a God. They say Atletico became the team they are, multiple UCL finals etc when he returned for his second spell. He brought that grit and that fire back to them. His peak was so good that people forget his later years, he was still torching the best of the best in his second Atletico spell. I’ll never forget that brace he scored in his final Atleti game ever. I will forever cherish Fernando Torres, for his prime and afterwards. El Niño 🙌🇪🇸🐐

1. Torres 2. Tevez 3. Berbatov Torres was the best striker in the league 07-09. Tevez was unbelievable between 07-11, maybe top 3 or 4 strikers in the league consistently. Berbatov whilst top scorer in 2011, and really good at Spurs, and probably the best ‘footballer’ on the list, was never at the top prime levels of the other two. If it were who is the best footballer of the lot then Berbatov wins.

In their prime, torres was arguably the best. Berba although was a joy to watch. Technically gifted with his feet, moved with flair and had that swagger in him. I don't think we'll see many players like him in the Prem ever again.

Tevez was ahead of both, this isn't even a debate. Even after he left City he was cooking except when he had that holiday in China. Tevez did it for relegation teams, top CL teams, and weird teams.

Torres was up there with Messi and Ronaldo before the injuries. He was capitan of Atleti at 19yo and he brought whole new generation to support Liverpool. He won everything. Im not gonna say who was the best but he was my idol and he made football look so simple.

My instinct reaction at first was Torres, but thinking about Tevez in his pomp is making me wonder. At United it was like unleashing a bulldog up top and created frailties in defences. Berba is underrated too but it's between Torres and Tevez for me

Berbatov was the most technical. Torres was the most dangerous. Tevez was a bulldog of a player. Really hard to pick, but I think Torres trophy cabinet sways it. Two Euros, a World Cup and a Champions League. Can't really argue with that.

This is a complete No-Brainer. Fernando Torres is Different Class to both Tevez and Berbatov even from my United perspective. Torres was arguably the most difficult opponent for the once formidable centre half partnership of Ferdinand and Vidic.

These debates are usually really tough but this one was fairly easy for me: Torres>Tevez>Berbatov. Berbatov is magical for sure but consistency matters. People have forgotten how good Torres was.

Torres in his first season was out of this world. Neither Berbatov nor Tevez have ever come close to matching how rapid, lethal and consistent he was. I've never seen Vidic, Ferdinand and Terry get schooled in one season of the PL. The way Torres schooled them. This is coming from a United fan. So you can understand how much this hurts.

I'm a United fan, loved Berba and Tev (the United Tev) but you can't look outside of Torres. When he was at Atletico, he seemed like an absolutely perfect kid that Ferguson would have moulded into a Balon d'Or winner.

Torres was simply unplayable at his best whilst at Liverpool and was arguably the best striker on the planet between 2007 and 2010 in my opinion and he secured that status by playing and winning everything with Spain who were the best national team on the planet during that era. After a serious knee injury in 2010 and then following his move to Chelsea and then back to Atletico he never managed to reach the heights he set at Liverpool and his first stint at Atletico.

Not that this is relevant, but just if the topic was strikers in the 90s early 00s, Andy Cole was and is the most underrated and disrespected striker in the EPL. As a united fan…I’ve never seen Vidic..one of the best centre halfs ever seen..being spun by anyone other than Torres. Torres wins this one easily for me. Carried lpool for a while. Berba and Teves were great cogs in the overall machine but don’t think either of them could carry the whole club like Torres did
