I just started driving for prime as a company driver. I came into the company as an experienced driver. I didn’t need to train . I was giving my truck right after orientation. Ive been driving for prime for 3 weeks now. I know it’s too early too say how good the company is but so far I’ve been getting the miles and pay I want.
I just retired from the over the road after 20 years. It was great. I enjoyed it. My only problems were the colour of my skin. I am black. Color did not help me all the whole. What was important was the one paying me. The miles were right and the money was right. Have fun girl just be your self . The white lines on the road will go by quickly. Watch them fly by.
I am in the infancy of my trucking career. Just met my recruiter but i will be training and driving for Roehl . Ive been watching hella videos to get some insught and i must say 2.50 per mile is about the best rate ive seen watching these videos. You're inspiring and i thank you for being informative ❤

I understand what you're saying. I lay in bed for about 2 minutes. Unless planned, I don't like to be rushed. I wake up early enough, to go slow and then just get into the day. After 4 years retired more $ is helpful, only working 16.5 hours a week. Never been easier to request a day off. My workday starts late so 7:30-8:00 isn't early for me (like it was before I retired). Best wishes everyone; all over the USA and continents beyond.

My morning starts with conversations with God while making my bed, coffee food and dog chores. Routines work best for us. I think I drove by you in Iowa or maybe just another red prime truck. Hey Friend! I got the Jasmine Drink today again. Everytime I get it I learn something new😂 I learned that if you have 200 points on your Starbucks App, you can get this drink for free. Also when they put the top on they can add more of the ingredients to help you get more bang for your Buck. This info came from the Starbucks across the street from the TA in Buttonwillow CA. Sounds like things are going good. This USA really if beautiful. We saw things we wouldn’t have seen if not trucking. We took our kids and later some of the grandkids with us sometime . They loved it. My dad it and so I hitch a ride with you every now and then. Sure a lot different than when we were out there. When I drove very few women drove and some of the guys didn’t like it. Take care , stay safe and have another Starbucks. See you onthe turn around. We trucked from 63-94. My husband had a bad stroke and it paralyzed him. Lost him in 2005 to cancer..

ITOLD them to start a class&don't keep the skills to yal self..teach other brothers&sisters,the driving skill
Slime, do you do your macros (arrived, departing, etc…) from the QC or on the app on your phone? My trainer always tells me doing it from the app is not the correct way. But is so much more convenient 🤷🏽♂️. Just checking to see how others do them
