So India fought a hard World Cup campaign and lost - no different from every other team . But also remember, that every team in a grand final match - no matter what the level, or sport code - wants to win. Unfortunately it's a simple fact that in every game there has to be a winner and a loser. And I agree that no one plays to be defeated. But at this level, there really is no excuse for the Indian team not being present for the presentation ceremony. IMO India just demonstrated to the world what they (truly?) are at heart - the very worst of sportsmen. No other team has ever done what they just did. Both teams tried, but India has to rise above their defeat and accept that the better team won. IMO India has just plunged the game to a new low. Pity.

Mr. Sharad Pawar handed over the Trophy to MS Dhoni while being surrounded by all Indian players and Mr. Pawar also became part of the Indian team's celebration with the Cup. Considering that this ceremony (CWC 2023) looked so dull.
