Yeah, there are a lot of things that don't make sense with him, especially the Haki part. I find it very strange. What's the point of a counter-attack that can't hit? All the opponent has to do is grab or use a Logia skill. Sometimes the opponent can dodge because of the eye-frames, so the counter won't hit. I think they failed to show us how he manipulates all the Haki types. I don't know why they don't give the character Armament Haki, even though the skill has Haki on it (like Katakuri's ultimate). But I found it quite interesting how they made Rayleigh very different from the old one. Trust me, with a few changes, he will be perfect. But I don't expect it to come yet; he might get nerfed (expect anything).
Ye, devs need some feedback from chinese players. Deff he needs an adjustment, i watched a lot of videos with Ray on bilibili yesterday, among them videos about how bad Ray`s counter works, so I think maybe devs will fix it, but still a big question about his Armament Haki... so lets wait the next updates, btw Mammoth is a fk monster rn, just to remind :D
They really need to fix his counters, and I think they should make the grab full red armor not just when you grab the enemy, and his first skill slash is so slow

If possible, could you please guide everyone on how to counter PRIME RAYLEIGH? Because I myself was always defeated by it (RAYLEIGH alone defeated all my champions, I was very sad😔). I think many people have also given in to RAYLEIGH's overwhelming power🥺
You can use a simple trick, just use something with fast recovery, for example basic attack or skill, trigger Ray`s counterattack with it, wait a little for his teleport, use dash and punish him.
Yo bro do you think he is worth? I had 60 pity on the ticket banner and i was able to get smoothie for just 20 tickets. So should i save for oden or summon on Rayleigh? Quite a few people think he is good but not broken and not worth 13-15k dfs what is your opinion?
I think you better save your fruits for WB and Oden, both of them good if you understand how to play right on them (Smoothie and Ray), but i think you better wait for WB and Oden, especially when you can get WB for 20 tickets (should be next ticket char, some rumors says)

Characters that have fast basic attacks shouldnt be ablr to pick up on the 2nd hit. Should be 3rd at least. Gear 4 is a good example of balance. Very fast and can continue combo after any dash but takes a ling time to pick up.
I dont think he is that hard to punish but I just cant see, blue and red slashes with lighting are covering my screen and I cant see when he comes to me. Wish there was an option to disable opponent special effects.

Bro u lied to me abt Jack or maybe I just cant beat him but yesterday I met a player who was ridiculously good with him. The mammoths are back! The buffs are too much. After the basic attacks he could dodge anytime bcz I fly so high in the air. Red armour lasts too long and he moves too fast for a character of his size. The hitbox of his grab is too big. I couldnt get the space to use my stun moves. He is now permanently banned till he gets nerfed.
AHAHAH :D "u lied to me" not really, he was just heavily buffed, so i agree with you, hes super strong rn and his hitboxes are insane almost on every skill.
Prime Rayleigh sudah bagus tidak perlu di tambahkan apapun, sangat sulit melawannya saat pemain sudah menguasainya terlalu banyak red armor dan bisa menyerang jarak jauh 😵💫👍

Btw you can cancel the counter w the grab sub skill immediately after using it so it’s decent recovery. Not the conventional method from using dodge but we ball
to be honest with you, the first time i saw him i was thinking he's the most broken character, but after a while and get used to him, i think he's mid, cuz he misses offensive skills, all his broken offensive skill is in 2nd skill which is ( a deflect/counter ) but you know lately i know how to avoid his deflect or the counter, also as i said the offensive skills are mid compared to ( shanks or katakuri ) i think the devs rushed, in my opinion at least they put 2 special attack in him just like ( shanks/mihawk ) and 2 phase of skills first with offensive 2nd with defensive I don't know to be honest, i'm just getting used to him, i don't feel tired or provoked against him even against pro chinese using him .

haven't watched the entire vid obv unlike @vegitoisgoat4829 💀 but i rlly do appreciate the eng audio, all others speaks in different languages or uses subs which is lil bit hard to follow with the gameplay simultaneously..
YO WTFFFFFFFF, he gets red armour when i conquerers??????? THAT IS RIDICULOUS. Bro the devs are setting the standards for new units too high. Stun characters like boa or ts luffy are practically needed in this meta.
Let me make it clear, you are surprised cuz at the beginning when he uses the skill he gets a red armour or you think that he gets a red armour for the enitre time while he is in the conquerers haki state? I just want to understand what are you talking about and how you understand what i said in the video to make sure the translation is right :D
Ah i see now, in the first line the translation implied it was for the entire duration but in the next line the translation made it more clear. I was just too excited watching it- my fault.
