My friend, please don't leave us waiting a whole year for the next series reviews. Your witty remarks along with your critique on the CGI creatures in comparison to the known facts about these animals are genuinely quite interesting! Subscribed. Hope to see more content from you in the future :)
I assumed that what screwed up the past and caused Claudia to disappear was the baby Predators being left in the Permian. Who knows what changes they could have caused?
Well, actually the answers to your questions are heavily implied. The two predators in their lifespan killed some/many permian creatures which causes a snowball effect down the line ~ 250 million years later. And that was my guess before viewing season 2.
Karen McCullough that's true, although it would have been good to have seen how the predators caused that, and how they only changed a few small things and left others, such as most of the rest of the team's personalities, completely in tact.
@@Edaphosaurus also how the world was still affected by the same events in first episode. It doesn't make sense how? it cannae voice it. wait I should be not procrastinating on 6 year old videos.
Fast forward to 2018, and we are all still waiting for your review on the rest of the series. It is a really good review. Also, can you please review Terra Nova?
This episode really expanded primeval’s lore😃😃😃👍🏻👍🏻😎😎!!! And yes wolverine would destroy Spider-Man😂😂😂👍🏻!!! I love turning the creatures into Star Wars characters😂😂😂!!! With you going over this series again I’ve just realised how inconsistent it is
Me: The gorgonopsid has Darth Vader music Me also after watching baryonx boy episode in walking with dinosaurs series: spino has emperor palpatine music see something?
I have two theories about Claudia's erasure. 1. Helen got jealous and deliberately changed around Claudia's past 2. The Baby Predators killed something in the past and butterfly effect bla bla bla
Of course this one's already had a claim, I'll put things right when my dispute gets inevitably turned down. Should have the fourth version of Ep. 4 up soon
You know, I always assumed that the baby Predators were the reason the timeline changed. I mean, two monstrous killing machines left in the Permian would surely affect mammal evolution, right?
You Stated that since the pred isn't a real animal, you can't judge it, but you can. It is inaccurate (kinda) on the same level as most of the creatures in the series. It doesn't have fur, lips, proper ears (even though the ears are located on each side of the nose, they should be both behind and forward to see everything before it's in visual range with a large, proper pinna.
1st, nice Gorgonopsid Wars memes, 2nd, it's your choice, but pls do Season 2 of this show, I don't know why, but it's my favorite season (most likely the Deinonychus). Oh, and great video btw. :)
I hate to be that guy with the theories, but I believe that the baby future predators that weren't killed were their own parents. .... .... .... So basically, you could say that they gave birth to themselves. As for how their original selves from the first time around got into the Permian, I have no idea. Also, why are you going to make us wait a year for you to review the second series? Are you going to be reviewing some other series first or somethin?
So if you are waiting to review season 2 next year does that mean that if you ever review season 4 and 5 you will review them in 2021?Still gonna wait for it.
"Was it good? I think it was! Yes, the animals were incredibly inaccurate, but it was an enjoyable show." I think statements like this would have more weight if you spend more time talking about things beside the creature inaccuracies. Like the oscilloscope scene, that is a nice example for pointing out something good besides "oh, they featured this animal". If I never saw Primeval and would judge it solely on your episode reviews, I would probably get a much worse impression of it since so much of your reviews is either nitpicking or snarky remarks. I don't know how deep you are into your series 2 reviews or if a string of comments by one random guy would affect how you structure your reviews, but few people seem to even remember this show nowadays, let alone care enough to review it.
I hated the disappearance of Claudia as it was never explained and didn't even make any sense within the show's own laws of time travel. The baby future predators shouldn't have changed anything as Nick had already seen the aftermath of those events in Episode 1 and that timeline was already established. The writers just came up with what seemed like a cool cliffhanger then realised they had no idea how to resolve it.
Couldn't those Future Predators have had something to do with the Permian extension which made it an even bigger extension which then caused changes to the timeline?
@@stokey24 well an adult was killed by one big Permian thingy I forget what its called. Also since it'd be odd without context this is about the Permian extinction being caused by the future predators making it worse causing the timeline change. Your welcome because I've been there with weird comments.
Thanks for the heart. Will you ever return to primeval? I returned to rewatch it round the time i firstly commented ,but I had to rebuy it because all the discs were wreceted. Edit: I just re-edit it a year later & I guess I repeat time. damn this is the same thing. Also I'm only now rewatching it despite buying it a year ago but thats how my disc collection works buy it & use them a year later. Plz help I'm flooded with doctor who episodes I've been putting off since christmas & last year.
4:45 tell that to unnatural history channel, he did a video on the future predator and mentioned after man at one point, you wouldn’t like some of the things he said about it. As for me personally, as much as i love after man, the future predator will forever be my favorite future bat
Spino Fel I have already, it is really good, if somewhat far fetched towards the end. The animal designs were heavily influenced by the work of Dougal Dixon (designer of the future bats shown in the video) who served as an adviser and wrote the companion book.
I have a theory that the 2 baby predators from the past are the two adult predators that show up at the beginning of the episode which would eventually lead to them some how giving birth to them self’s and then there baby forms grow up to become there “parents” and this just keeps on happening in one circle because that anomaly travels to the past and some how they come thro the anomaly as adults and the anomaly changes to earlier in the past
Indominus Rex01 but the anomaly never closed and reopened, meaning that these are different predators, and also, I'm pretty sure that would be a time anomaly that would really screw up the timeline.
