But I was glad that the first four seasons did not contain to much gore as many other British productions. Already in the first episode the haevy part had been cut out not to destroy the family appeal. I bet the GORGONOPSID had eaten up the janitor in the shoping mall right at the start.

Love the series from first to last. New world didn't catch my attention too much. Titanaboa was cool to see in action. I wonder how the worms ate the people whole so quickly. I hate the fact that they started killing off the members of the main cast. Pulling heartstrings big time. Best cgi creature ever in a tv show.

The basic idea of Primeval is that "Anomalies" (wormholes) randomly start to appear and disappear, each providing a temporary gateway between two points in Earth's history. Creatures from the past and future often come through the anomalies, and hilarity ensures.

I remember getting so annoyed at the end of this season... 1) they killed off probably one of the best people in it, and 2) why did the creatures only attack him, we’ve seen them fight before (gorgonopsid & Future Pred) so why don’t they in this bit ....
