Farming is an important segment that contributes to the creation of food to ensure survival, in the project to achieve a fuller life in the primitive period, my experimental work involves planting food crops such as soybeans, peanuts and corn... see the detailed article here: bit.ly/2LTKhRX

your videos have helped me so much. I may not be able to go to the level you go, but your videos have helped me so much with my gardening. The skills you taught me helped me improve my garden methods and helped me find ways to improve weed blocking and germination rates. I been gathering more of my own seeds from plants i grew so i can afford to grow more despite my lack of income due to medical. My small garden plants get so big and healthy. People here are astonished by my tall cornstalks. Big tomatoes and wide spread strawberries. I added garlic and grapes, got cotton seeds from the plant i got from a seed neighbor gave me and found wheat seeds. So want to try growing a patch of cotton and wheat. Recently i been searching ways to prevent weed growth and found so many people here toss leafs to the dump. So hoping them with leafs from the lawn will stop weeds and help my plants grow even bigger. Its primitive tech videos like yours. That have helped me be able to do more despite my seizures and issues, in being able to make my own versions of tools and devices to help make the tasks easier so i can do them without much issues. Thank you for being so generous sharing your skills with us. My neighbor had a somewhat geyser happen when a hole was dug on his lawn and it filled up with clay water. So when its warm again i hope to try drying the clay water to try to make fire bricks to make a clay oven and stove top to try to make even more and maybe being in a cooler climate. Try to make taps and a clay sap pan to make maple syrup. I may of never learned how to do these things or to even know i would be able to try them without amazing people like you showing me i can.

@@orsoncart1021 Not knowing the name of a tree doesn't mean he doesn't know how to use it. Why should he need to know the formal name of a tree?
@travispluid3603
@travispluid3603 4 года назад
@@orsoncart1021 I know that, and it seems he knows what characteristics the trees have. Why does he need to know the name of the tree to know what to use it for and how best to harvest it? Hint: he doesn't. The name doesn't matter. He knows how to plant the wild plants he harvested, does he need to know their names to know that? You can't just trust that he might know what he's doing, even with all the evidence for it?

@@mikemiller2538 You know, you say that he stole content on every single video. And I've never found it, even when I TRIED to look for it. Not even on old uploads. He never used anyone's content, and you're literally just trying to spread false information because you like beating down on an industrious person. He fucking dug a drainage ditch by hand to drain an entire pond. He planted rice (which he did, admittedly, get a bag of it for I believe, but I believe that's because it doesn't grow natively), and now he's planting plants I don't even know the name of. He didn't apologize, because he didn't do it.

A wild variety of white corn (we'd call it an heirloom variety since modern farmed corn is almost always a yellow variety) and what looked like peanut. You can probably google/wiki those things if you want to know more about the germination and growing times of those two crops now you know what he's planting.

@@lucasriley874 their are many varieties of white dent and white sweet. There are crosses between white and yellow corns that are known as bi-color. The dent corn is used for animal feed and corn meal, both yellow and white. The sweet corns are what we eat. Popcorn is different than sweet and dent (dried dent corn has a dent in the end of the ketnal). There are also ornamental with blues and reds and mixtures called "Indian", "gem", and "glass". Corn is just a grass that has been selectively bred to produce more grains with better tasting kernels. Shoepeg has the kernels appearing all willy nilly on the cob instead of in lines. The cobs can be used as "sponges" if planted below crops that need lots of water and will absorb and hold the water, eventually giving it to plant, as needed.

Glad to have you back, man! Love your videos p.s. You should keep that grass you cut. You can dry it and use it as mulch to prevent weeds growing on your garden patch, or better yet - you can make an excellent fertilizer by fermenting it for a week or two with a little bit of manure (or poop) and water (or pee, but not too much, or you'll kill your plants), then use that fermented liquid as a once a week treatment for your green plants as an amazing source of nitrates. Best of luck!
