10000s of vlog channels and 100000s of gaming channels which are exactly the same, and when two guys do content on a similar theme, people freak out. This guy is using different materials as well as different techniques and making different things to Primitive Technology. If you live in a country with a lot of bamboo, the stuff on this channel will help you, but if you live in the bush in Australia with soil (mud) with high quantities of silt and clay, the content over on Primitive technology will be better. Besides, 99.99% of people watching these videos aren't going to attempt these anyway, so they are just watching these for entertainment. This guy makes videos which clearly take a very long time to make and cover different things to primitive technology. These videos are very entertaining and I hope that more people start making videos like these in the future. Keep up the good work, Primitive Skills!

I live in Thailand. This is TABLE construction. A bed works better with split bamboo places across ways on long poles and lashed in place. The spring of the slats conform to body shape and weight providing a "soft" feel. It is overlaid with a mat originally made from woven rice stems or similar but now done in plastic.

Can u make a small home territory in those woods? Lemme explain, u know if u get grasses and mash them together u can make paper of papyrus, or just get a rock or something, carve out an explored territory in a vid and call it something, then choose the best place to construct ur capital home, and there build these 1:Bamboo shelters 2:rice? If possible there seems to be loads of hills and steep places to dig rice steps and stuff, research to find out more, plz plant rice farm 3:make a shrine, like a cleared space with rocks where u can meditate and do Zen meditation, 4:create a stockpile, a storage place, in these coffers store your wood, 5:create a bamboo wooden wall by intertwining wood to make thicker fences,

What about a primitive belt and pouches ? Is it possible to make fine cordage, a needle and bottons. Then maybe trap small game like rabbits or whatever exists there to make a pouch and belt. Also you could make an arrow quiver and maybe a primitive though functional backpack with button up flap on top .... sorta like an elaborate basket with shoulder straps.

5:34 You got plenty of bamboo growing by your cave. Don't see why you have to walk so far and get ate up with mosquitoes and leeches when you have the same thing literally thirty yards away from where you're camping out.
@aaronstock96
@aaronstock96 6 лет назад
Robert Corbell if he wants his set up to be hidden, he would have to go further and take materials from a different part of the forest. It's quite smart actually.
@robertcorbell1006
@robertcorbell1006 6 лет назад
If that's his plan, ok. But as you can plainly see, nobody could come around that side even if cleared due to how rugged it is plus the steepness would make it hidden unless you came up and over from behind on top of the cave which is impossible because it's a sheer cliff above. So it wouldn't really.
