The damn thing is getting dangerous close to stealing Valstrax throne as my favorite monster. The paladin lore, the way he uses his wings as a sword and shield, this power up, the qurio fire breath and meteors... If these forms were him in control, he would be second to one, without a doubt.
Did the download happen automatically for you or is it a DLC you have to get? I was hoping to fight it after work but it just says “bonus update now available” and we don’t see the new content :(
@@Amatsu_storm_approach it is a normal one, one before being corrupted by lil the assface qurio. Hence the name "primordial" however there is an argument against that, using "primordial" but no one's gunna come up with that so fuck it.
How many pushups did he do ?? How many situps ?? WHAT KIND OF JUICE DID HE DRINK ??? Seriously though, the first time I fought him, he broke me in half. It took me 4 tries to beat him and even then I had to use a lot of healings and my brain was steaming
Might as well add to it. Sorry if I miss a few points, been a while since I watched the Abridged Broly movie. Capcom: Foolish Hunter, this isn't the work of any biological power boost, you are witnessing the maddening power of the Qurios putting a new victim under their control for them to use his strength as their own! For you see, you aren't dealing with the average Malzeno anymore...
The power it exudes seems egregious compared to the other form, but then the major difference is that the first Malzeno had been leeched for fifty years and could no longer maintain optimal performance, whereas this one is fresh and has much more vitality to offer to the affliction.
@@hartfantom the normal Malzeno is weaker and doesn't explode as hard because the pink bats have been stealing power for 50 years. This one explodes so hard it's over the top because it has full power.
I like to think that this malzeno is trying to expel any qurio in its body, instead of simply utilizing it like the usual malzeno. Its attack is so forceful when you look at it.
@Vakishim-pn2un Scorned Magnamalo is actually not at all related to the effects of the Serpents. It's a Magnamalo that had its horns broken, either by one of their own in ritual combat or by something else. The shells on Magnamalos never grow back if damaged, so they take great care not to damage it. In either case, male Magnamalos with broken horns are immediately disqualified from ever mating again, if they even got the chance. They are _scorned_ by others of their kind. As a result of their (probably sexual) frustration, Scorned Magnas start picking fights more readily, and taking on tougher and tougher prey, even elder dragons. And if it actually wins, it can chow down on the delicious bone marrow and get a nice dose of Dragon element to add to their hellfire...
@@General_C actually i kinda agree with you. Scorned magnamalo practically magnamalo that got too much malice and vengeance, not sure aimed to whom, but it is quite similar to BB diablos
You do have to feel bad for Malzeno - it's clearly not at all happy about having Qurio attached to it, and is doing everything in its power to get rid of them. He's a noble paladin that these imps from Hell are trying to drag down into the abyss...after all, there's few things more delightful to the Devil than watching a noble soul fall into corruption. There's even a difference with the death animation between the two kinds - the Qurio leave "normal" Malzeno as it dies, seeming to cut their losses. But when Primordial finally bites it, you see a bunch of Qurio drop to the ground - they were clinging to it to the very end. I can imagine the normal Malzeno crying out for its power-giving parasites to come back, while Primordial breathes a sigh of relief.
That explains a lot for his ultimate move too, looks like he is trying to kill all qurios by releasing all his power at once. Sadly, only dying can save him from the pain.
@@fluffy7643 That's what it turns into. At first, you're fighting him because you think he's the real threat. It's only during that final scene when you and Fiorayne realize that the Qurio are the real threat, not him.
Love that in a way it's also a huge reference to the story of Dracula and his fall from his faith in God, no longer a noble paladin but one that fell into the hand of Satan.
Because it pretty much is, Primo Malzeno is fighting it to stay in control, where EDs (Elder Dragons) got to fight the Qurios to stay in control. The process is really terrifying and sad when we think of it because those dragons get either eaten alive or they prevail from the anomaly and become stupidly strong. The Qurios parasite is the biggest threat to the series ever made so far, the Frenzy Virus was something yet it was only a Virus that turns monsters deadly mad, and the Apexes (Original from 4U) are like Gore Magala and Shagaru but MUCH weaker with their lifespan. Qurios are eating *Everything* that is alive, even inanimate living like plants. (Sorry if it end up as a long comment, the Qurios anomaly is truely fascinating)
Primordial Malzeno is perhaps Malzeno unaffected by the Qurio. The longer they’re become affected, the more that Malzeno becomes the Malzeno we first fight. The first Malzeno is Malzeno after they’re fully controlled by the Qurio, and Primordial Malzeno was Malzeno prior to this process.
no, his final phase is an obvious allusion to risen elder dragons, and for the king of qurios it makes sense, so malzeno is normal -> gets afflicted -> gets over affliction and thus becomes risen malzeno. They could've literally just called him risen malzeno and no one would bat an eye
@@GOOOOOOOOOOOOODDAYno primordial malzeno is what malzeno is supposed to look like. It’s based on the Dracula myth, he was a paladin that got dragged to hell but climbed his way out but as punishment he was turned into a vampire.
Omfg thats so goddamn cute! He tuckers himself out after using that ult. Aaaaw jus let him get 1 wittle cart, cmonnnnnnn. But damn, he got more forms than a fuckin Saiyan. Aw I loves him.
here is some advice when it goes risen(orange colors) You cannot use wallbang(marrionette) spiders or flashbomb it. Instead use them when it's in phase 2 or 3 so you can send him back to phase 1 more easily.

Nah, Nergigante is an opportunistic bastard, he just wanted bio-energy in the end, and in Iceborne, we find that he got his wish, he wasn't "protecting" us, we just crossed paths, he wanted to keep Zorah's energy to himself, and since he couldn't do that, he kept hunting other Elders like he always does, until eventually getting EXACTLY what he wanted.
Primordial Malzeno hates Qurio. The Qurio wants to control him and each rage stage shows them trying to take him over. This ultimate attack ends with him trying to fight back and regain control. He also stunlocks himself after his ultimates because he's literallyy fighting against himself. Lore wise, He's actually not this evil myth, You, Fio, and Malzeno team up to kill evil mosquitoes at the end. You save him and he thanks you by leaving after killing all the qurio attacking him with Fiorayne. This is the original Malzeno that protects that area as it's Alpha predator pretty much.
it is the qurios are literally flying leeches trying to succ malzeno blood the average malzenos are already drained to the core whilst this one is still normal
Primordial Malzeno [Almighty Knight Dragon] He's Stressful, Rageful and Suffering from Qurio being force transforms. I just like Primordial Malzeno. Me: Stop, please... No, STAY AWAYYYYY!!! P. Malzeno: NOOO! STOPPP! GET AWAYYY!!!
Not only the ultimate .. I'm a gun lancer and I discovered that most of their Qurio-charged attacks like the "qurio multiple cannon" are unblockable too... (Even with my Guard 5 and Guard Up)
Well to answer your question this is the Original Malzeno at full potential. The quiro infected one is technically in a nutshell a nerfed Version of the Original one. Primordial Malzeno seems to be the OG Malzeno that fought against Gaismagorm. However, it seems Primordial Malzeno has experience with fighting Elder dragons as his Turf war with Velkana. Primordial easily beats up velkhana without getting a single scratch.
I don’t even care or get excited to fight this thing because the Switch version is just going to be a bunch of severe frame drops and lag. Capcom really screwed all Nintendo owners by doing this bait and switch then releasing a working version for pc, Xbox, ps5.
