at first, i didn't want to believe he's a robot because of his hands but now i'm convinced because no one could be that fucking insane on the guitar and nunchucks.
If ever there was a match made it heaven its gotta be Buckethead and Les Claypool. Two of the weirdest but equally most talented musicians on the entire fucking planet. They were meant to share a stage at some point.
Buckethead is the Buckethead of bass too. It is obvious that you have not listened to his albums, like electric tears, population override and so many others, where he also plays awesome rhythms, riffs and solos with the bass...
I just realized that Buckethead actually IS a robot. That's the only possible way to explain him. I'm sure if you removed his mask and bucket you would reveal a jumble of circuit boards, wires and fried chicken.

+Happyist I still haven't been able to dig him. I see him as technically very very VERY good, but i can't get into his solo stuff . For me it's technical stuff over good music.
I think he belongs with primus!! they're the only folks who seem to be on the same level of weirdness with him. It might be a cluster fuck but Les is the only bassist good enough to mix well with him
Proof that your can do any damn thing you want in your life and as long as you're an absolute freak of nature in your ability to do it well, you'll have a career doing it. You got a bassist and guitarist so far removed from "normal" and yet so completely and undeniably masters of their craft.
My favorite part about metallica is how they kicked out mustaine and he made a better band then they turned down claypool who also started a better band lol

Metallica are a bunch of ego maniacs that barely get along, they don’t sound good anymore, and they’ve not made anything good in decades. Primus sounds amazing still, they’re actually friends, and they keep pushing the envelope with their creativity and craft.
this is so cool. "here come the bastards" is my favorite primus song and i've always wanted to hear them jam it in this goofier kind of way, it's such a simple but cool little 5/4 jam.
Bucketheads Style fits right in with Primus, I never took the time to sit down and listen to this guy I figured it was all a big joke when he showed up playing with Guns and Roses but this guy is super talented now I'm surfing the web trying to find anything I can on him
