You know I was first exposed to Primus when I was around 10, I think it was Jerry was a Race Car Driver and at the time I was like, “This is way to funky for me.” 10 years later and I come across My Name is Mud randomly, totally captured by album cover, and the music sorta just made sense. John the Fisherman is easily my favorite.
Imo frizzle fry album is the most iconic. The year after it came out, we sent young men to eat for oil, so Too Many Puppies was the soundtrack for me at age 18/19/20 when I would have been in war had I continued with my enlistment interest of age 17.
Hey Ken, nice Primus footage from the trenches. What camera or phone did you record with? I was upstairs and got the whole show. Do you mind if I use some of your footage for a multi-cam mix? I will be sure to credit all sources.
Hey what’s up my friend! You can use them. Thanks for asking! I’ll tell you my secret (publicly) soon as the first band ends that’s when you make the move to get up front. Works every time. This close it’s iPhone 13 pro max all the way. It handles the audio excellent.
@@DrunKENgatorFan I did the show in Orlando last year from the GA floor and ended up at the front edge of a mosh pit so I decided to go with my spot in the balcony this time. I attempted to do Jane's Addiction once from the pit at the Fillmore and it was just too crazy. Too old to mosh, too young to die (I think Jethro Tull sang about that)
Watch almost anyones initial reaction to this band called PRIMUS, and it’ll all start to make sense… haha PRIMUS SUCKS! Not really a joke, more a motto.. Xd
Their drummer suffered two heart attacks so it makes sense to why he doesn’t play “all out” anymore. As a drummer, I know that playing a high energy 2 hour set is no joke.
