I will forever be here coz this is the only place we’re I can find peace watching the only Person that I truly love besides my friends & family …I miss Him dearly 💜👏🙌
+Jonathan Leery well said. he was one of the beautiful ones, wasn't he but in that song he was talking about being on the other end of it... I love how shy he is. such a shame that it took his death for some people to learn about his music but he was very private so maybe it was all cool with him.
I totally agree with you. Many people did not recognized how talented, humble and caring Prince was until he died. There is a quote that says " you don't really appreciate or value something until its gone" which is an example of what happened to Prince, because many people only started to recognize how talented he was when he passed.
+Calinks Yes, because, he indeed took very good care of himself health wise & etc.. That's what has shocked me & my husband as to why or shall I say really HOW he died? I knew from watching some video this woman was his friend & she was a reporter person & said that he had no security guards hovering over his 10million $ home.. That he wanted to be free & do as he wanted & not have to feel like every other artist out their.. He wanted to live & made friends with his fans & just trusted them.. It makes me wonder really if someone came in his home & murdered him or something of that nature because, he was vulnerable at that time!!
And five years after being there with Lopez, he was gone. Just like that. Never to return. No real explanation, no where to say goodbye. A botched investigation and the heirs being disallowed from inheritance.
+LJ808 Guilty! Came across this video long before yesterday's news. Only sorry that this show didn't last long, George Lopez had a lot of great guest stars and some funny moments that could do circles around Jimmy Kimmel. Recognized a clip of this interview when it was shown on CNN yesterday!
The most apt statement "We take this for granted but, I am here cause of the golden age of the 60s 70s and 80s of music. This is when artists played their own instruments, wrote their own songs, they had to perform next to people like Ike and Tina Turner, Wilson Pickett, James Brown. You've gotta have your act together" #RipPrince
Prince was just his usual, beautiful, charming self when it comes to interviews. He brung good vibes to all people especially when he talks. He's very special. His personality and his attitude on this interview is one of the reasons why I love him so much. 💜
I would disagree... It's a choice to be a gentlemen, it's a choice to be respectful and there's alot of ways those choices we make are influenced but still WE'RE we ones who make the choice who we wanna be.
@@michael2305 ABSOLUTELY Sir- my brother's were raised "right", so to speak. 🙏 My son is fortunate to have a father who has been a tremendous influence. I am VERY grateful. Saw Prince perform in Illinois of 2011- Blown away.. RIH✝️
Ikr... Like a lil elf or one of those Lord of the Rings elves lived in those trees with Cate Blanchett & Orlando Bloom ... minus the bone straight blonde hair
Amen. Prince is/was/will always be a legend. I almost feel that you cannot mention artists like Kanye in the same sentence as Prince, it doesn't feel right. You have to give this legend his own space cause nothing compares to ...
+Shonnie lovestruck Actually, they would if their parents would show them things of Prince. (I was born in 1999) and my mother showed me lots of things of Prince. Mostly because she loved him and got her friend to have Prince call her.
It's a shame that he didn't do more interviews. In addition to being an incredibly talented musician, he was also a very funny guy with an engaging personality. RIP.
Prince...quite possibly the most beautiful, poised and elegant man to have walked the earth in our lifetime. Talent, class, sexiness & sophistication unmatched, in my opinion. Simply watching him perform or in interviews is an immense pleasure.
Unbelievable that we lost a great artist like Prince, it's like Losing John Lennon, Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley, that's how amazing Prince was. R.I.P.....
+CoolPixx23 I would put him with John Lennon and Elvis, I honestly think he is WAY above Michael Jackson. Either way I'm still in shock over it and I can't tell you I was a huge fan in the least.
+M. S. A id have to look into that. But what the hell does dancing have to do with this discussion? Elvis though in the grand scheme of rock and roll, Jackson has nothing on him.
They were man I would say 1 person gives that energy. Bruno Mars. Especially with this Silk Sonic project. He is a musician and he is connected to that era in a way no one else is.
I still can't believe he's gone, I'll never get over this, so talented yet so humble, my favorite artist of all time, there will ever be another Prince Rogers Nelson!! Sorry to see you go man......
Seeing Prince laugh so hard @ 2:15 puts a big smile on my face, man!!! Man what a treasure that came to this world and went. May he rest in peace. George Lopez was a true trooper for this interview.
True! I have always believed that God blessed certain people with knowledge, skills and talent. Whether that be a doctor, scientist, teacher, fireman, first responder or entertainers. God blessed Prince with sheer natural talent. The kind of talent that’s not seen everyday. Elvis, Freddy Mercury, Michael Jackson, Whitney Huston, George Michael, and the list continues. All exceptionally talented, all gone way too soon.
Prince, by far, was one of the MOST humblest celebrity there ever was...Hear him mention how he purposely let tickets go on sale for cheap to show Ticketmaster what's up? He knew how to defy the music industry for the sake of believing that music should be made from the heart, not reiterate but whatever..He was amazing and it's sad to see all these older interviews for what they are...glimpses of his soul. No fakery, or pointless chitchat.
What a beautiful soul. A rare commodity is these days. Prince had SO MUCH talent and NO EGO. Humble, quiet, I really struggle to put another artist into this bracket. I am not even a die hard fan but I have ears and a soul, so I can appreciate this man's talent. What a loss to the world.
Whenever I can't sleep, whenever life gets too hard, I play his music or an interview and he makes me smile and suddenly I can face another day.RIP you beautiful soul .
I am embarrassed to say that I never truly paid prince any mind until after his death and I have to say he was a true musical genius, no, not like Kanye, the real version. He was also very smart and was fighting the ills of the music industry, what a shame.
After I found out he passed I said a week ago prince was probably the furthest from anybody's mind and now all of a sudden he's "popular" again and I feel the same bc I can't help being drawn to him but it feels so guilty at the same time
I remember hearing Soft and Wet for the first time in 1978. I was a junior in High School and me and my friends went bananas. When we saw the artist who sang the song, we went beserk. His voice was as fine as he was. There will never be another PRINCE in my lifetime if ever. The man was a musical genious and he will be truly missed. It's a sad day on earth but the angels above are rejoicing as they have a new angel to sing with them. Rest in peace my dear brother Prince Rogers Nelson. I have loved you since I first heard your voice.
The greatest musician of my time...that's for sure! And one of the best ever! I'll pass the music to my children, and hopefully they pass it to their's, and so on.
its weird when someone with so much flamboyancy and confidence like prince that now that he has passed away that i can see his soul more now through these interviews now that he has left this earth and man he was such a beautiful soul but i didnt realize that when he was alive its only now and now i am sad. i took him for granted like he was always going to here like a cartoon character. wow im so sad
He spoke so well and was so poise! He stood up for the music and the artists behind it. His love for the music stood out so much. May he rest in peace ❤️
The best way to honor his life is to learn to treat each other - human, animal and environment with respect. He was a musical genius, a philanthropist, and animal rights supporter and did so in such a humble way. We lost a treasure. Love one another and love all other beings in this world. Prince will live on forever in our hearts.
This was a man with great intellect and wisdom. He was also a man with great talent and while I did not follow his music, I am left with sadness. So young and gone too soon. I know when our number is up and we are taken from this world..it is over.May Prince rest in peace and I pray he made heaven as during his childhood he apparently had a visitation by an angel. God bless him and his family. I am thankful he touched many lives. When I listen to him I feel tremendous peace. R.I.P.
It's interesting, listening to the radio today.. All the Prince songs being played & with each one I hear, I recall a memory of my life. Where I was, what I was doing & who I was with, during that time. He truly was part of the soundtrack to my life. What an amazing talent. He will be so missed.. RIP👼🏽🙌🏼🙏🏼💖
I really hate that it took him dying just for me to listen to his music. I'd listen to more of it, but I'm conflicted cause I feel like I'd be contributing to the idea of artists being worth more dead than alive. Even though his music is great!
Tissan: Nooooooo, no ...you listen to his much buddy ...he wasn't your taste before obviously, and now you're giving him time due to this sad event ...you may find in a few days or so, that he's really not your music type ...then again, you may find you can't get enough. I'm not a believer of God and such ....yet, if Prince was in fact looking down ...I truly feel he'd appreciate you listening to him.... So, enjoy away ; ) )
+Tissan Young . I have always been a very big Prince fan and am so conflicted that he's gone. I have no words to express my grief, but he never stopped creating music because he was an artist who was beyond compare. I am sure whatever brought you to him is part of your life. He was gifted to bring you joy. I hope you love him as much as I do! RIP O}+>
Don't be conflicted friend enjoy it! It's is now at this point of your life that you can probably relate to more with his lyrics. For sure I knew all the lyrics to the song "Cream" when I was growing up but now as an adult I KNOW WHAT THE LYRIC MEAN lol!!! that's the power of good music
at least his family will have all the rights to his music, NOT that evil company Warner Bros, the same fuckers who are probably the ones who had Prince assassinated... #restinpurple
He's surprisingly funny. I think with all of the accounts of people meeting him purporting his strangeness, some of that is just not understanding that he's just a soft-spoken, brilliant, and good-hearted person who is very individual. Nice to see him humble and well-spoken here.
He was so on point abt that licensing act now. Atrocious that you can take anothers work and profit from it without their permission. He hated sampling too: "Soon we will be sampling the samples," He once stated. LOL. He was a true musician who worked hard and composed and believed in the originality of an artist's work.
+Toni-Ann Stewart The fact that MJ wanted to get his Masters from Sony shows his stand was similar to Prince's. I think they had this in common and a lot more and its kinda sad they werent besties but i understand where they were coming from.
LifeOfTheParty As a huge Prince follower from the beginning, I see hundreds of comments like yours. I always knew he was a fantastic artistic. Little did I know I was a fan of The Greatest Artist of All Time. No other artist can compare to this Legend. We all miss our brother. Rest in Purple and with God. He was a believer!
+drServitis I don't blame him so you can rob him Hell to the No! your doing right prince! and deSevitis go somewhere else if you want it free stupid ass!!!!!!!!!
Barbara vire Everyone else has their music on RU-vid. All of the big successful groups and singers, but not Prince. And those who have their music on RU-vid make a lot of money from it because they are paid by advertising here from the ads you see on the videos. Btw, you need to learn English before you try to comment. You look silly.
I've never heard his voice, as in talking. His voice, well wow I didn't know he had such a good voice. I expected to hear a more high pitch kind of voice, not a deep one. I'm not a fan, but he was an entertainer and I respect them all. Rest in Peace Prince !!!
I love Prince, purely and sincerely. I’m not in love with him I just truelly and purely love his beautiful spirit and feel broken that he is no longer here to share his gift but I’m thankful for the short time he was here and gave what he did. What an amazing, gifted, talented, beautiful soul he was. RIP prince although, for me, you were the king of music and entertainment 💕
As a lifelong MN TC area musician, my memorable experience with Prince was when I fixed and returned his Sequential Circuits Prophet keyboard back in '84 or 85 when I worked briefly in music repairs (VERY briefly, it does not pay well)... anyway the keyboard was messed up because he poured a bottle of perfume on it to try to fix a bad smell of glue after he first glued purple fur all over it... who else would do something like that??? He will be missed. A very focused and one of a kind person for sure, a brilliant and visionary artist and he sure built a cool place for music (Paisley Park Studios). RIP.
I loved his music. I remember seeing Purple Rain when it came out. A titan of music. He obviously had great talent and skill, but as a Guitarist, I think he was underrated. One of the greatest performers of our generation.R.I.P. prince...We love you man!!!
